AHE: Test Designs 2 (Patreon)

   For a brief period in late 2020, I was considering hiring DigitalKaiju on the merit of his higher completion speed and talent for animating. Paid for twenty hours of work and asked him to produce concept designs based on the existing Zaphryon ones—we ended up not proceeding with DK's style, but the designs are interesting to check out:

   Following the previous test hires to replace Zaphryon, we hired Dsconocido to do a wide variety of concept art for us. Or rather, I hired her to do specific designs, and she mostly ignored that and instead drew a wide variety of concept art. She is to my knowledge the only artist who went through and actually read all of AnimeCon Harem, but almost all of her designs for us are either unfinished or abandoned. Usually both.

   Dsconocido works fast, often did not ask for pay, and has a lot of talent... but she had no interest in being told what specifically to draw, insisted on drawing whatever she wanted, and regularly abandoned almost every design to start on a new one. Keeping her for the game project wasn't feasible, so I instead pulled her off and asked her to do light novel style illustrations for our book volumes at her own pace and creative control.
