Please don’t feel like you have to set yourself on fire to keep the rest of us warm. You’re a great author and I love your works (even Chloe tugs at my heartstrings sometimes), but if you need to change anything to give yourself some rest, I personally am more than comfortable waiting without updates for a while until you get back on your feet. Of course I’m speaking for myself here, but I think it’s an opinion most of your patrons hold.

Nice chapter, and perfect description of how most warehouses are with their hiring, my own job included there. And sorry to hear that shit's going crazy with you, I understand how that goes. All you can really do is roll with it and make the best out of your situation. And those kittens are adorable as well, hope you can find homes for them all.

Ok so, fleas- the typical collars and powder etc are weak AF - if you go to a vet they can give you a spot on treatment that kills them instantly when they bite - cleared up my infestation in a few days!

I enjoyed the story update and think you are very kind to have taken in the momma cat and kittens. I wish you the best of luck in finding homes for the kittens. We have had 2 pairs of foster kittens that are still with us over a year later. :)

Brian's Last Name is Douglas so it would be Titania Darkness Douglas as Emily will marry him and take his last name. Worst case would be Douglas-Riviera

Great update as usual. Loved the double meaning of Steph's question to Kelly. I worry that Steph will not get the time she needs to discuss the revelation with Rebecca, as the poor girl is having reception issues at the moment in the story.\

Holy crap, you've got a lot of problems. 1) Lots of shelters/pounds will get cats fixed for low-cost/free if you set up an appointment. 2) Your best bet for the bank thing is to go the the bank in person, with two sets of identifying documents, and try to get a banker to unlock your account. 3) Flea traps (https://www.wikihow.com/Make-a-Flea-Trap) are a decent way to get rid of fleas, but depending on the severity of your problem, might have to just call an exterminator.

@Kirrocen I get myself into a catch-22 where I don't feel personally satisfied and can't relax unless I feel like I've written something worthwhile for you guys. The stress and discomfort builds up like you wouldn't believe when I haven't posted in a while, but then trying to actually force myself to write gets me wordcount without substance and always just winds up bloating my cut content doc and frustrating me further.

I've gotten (most) of my issues sorted out by now, they were mostly just being complicated by not having a vehicle, nothing being within walking distance, not having friends or family in the area, not having a phone, and everywhere being closed to walk-ins because of covid-19.

When my ex was here we were able to take in and rehome quite a few cats here. Started with "Little Thing" that followed her home, then it was "Charcoal" and her two kittens "Smoke" and "Piglet" (Piglet was originally Ash but earned the Piglet name by putting his entire little body in the food dish to prevent others from getting any) and then "Zim." This with Missy and her five kittens (trying REALLY hard not to name them) is just my first time taking in cats by myself and trying to get them taken care of / rehome them.

I've been taking my new cat expenses out of my trailer savings money, and all of that was just for nebulous future projects like "replace some of the windows" or "replace some of the bad outlets with good ones." I rarely dip into that money as is, only did so recently for the electrician and the plumber. And the plumber only charged me $40 since I'd already walked out and picked up the parts!

It looks like we are nearing the end. Do you think a sequel is in the cards for you or are you moving on to different things?

After part 12 I'll probably do a "bonus chapter" arc that serves as an epilogue to show how everyone fares immediately after the convention, then Renfaire Fantasy will take place six months after the events of AnimeCon Harem.

Good job on the story so far. Sorry to hear about your troubles. I hope everything gets better. I know there are lots of vets that if you bring a stray to them they will spay or neuter it and then dock and ear so that the cat can be identified easier as a spayed or neutered cat
