I resubmitted with an appeal in the note to admin field, and after five days they just kicked it back to me with this same exact message. So... that's that. We're still up on MC stories, Questionable Questing, Royal Road, and ScribbleHub, at least.

Peccant

Well they can go pound sand then

João Vene

Wow that's such bullshit

Seadrake

That sucks, it's their loss.

Seadrake

There are several other sites that host stories if you want to make up for the loss of literotica

MVFast

Sounds like haters.

Newq

I'm confused, does literotica not allow advanced chapters in their TOS? Seems odd for you to be dinged by this unless you actually are only releasing teasers which seems doubtful since -as they've stated- you've released 11 out of the current 14 chapters available.

Gernia

As I have read most of the good content on QQ and RR, any other good sites? AO3 is akin to digging through a flaming trashheap.

Drake Lundstrom

Should we send them emails in support of you? If they are just getting hater emails from 1 or two people, maybe we can drown them out with positive emails?

Seadrake

I didn't say there were other 'good' sites. I just said others existed, Fanfiction'net is just about as much of a dumpster fire if you are desperate for reads. There is the occasional nugget of copper in them streams.

Fushi

"How dare you not host all your chapters on our site so we can make money off of you!"

Jeanie6754

That is such bullcrap. 11 chapters is not a teaser a teaser is 3 or less. That sucks. Screw em.

ZeroCross

That's such a stupid policy. Fuck 'em.

James Glass

Funny thing is, that complaint is what led me here to find the rest of the story.

David Rogers

That stinks, that is how I found my way here. Your publish chapters there are way longer (and better) than most work they host. I wonder if you can post a one page ending there to keep it up and satisfy the site?

Toodles McGhee

Glad I found you before it was taken down!

Howard

Why on earth should you try and make a living off your art?? I have no clue what possessed you lol. Well,I for one became a patreon member, and have no regrets. Keep up the good work.

Zeikfreid

This is just asinine, you post way more content then many others on that site who do the exact same thing.

Fararden

It sure seems like the volunteer didn’t do a good job.

Batts

Hate to disagree but 4046's Project Guide pages lists it as: AnimeCon Harem: 122+ chapters, 1,907 pages.

FortySixtyFour

The submissions to Lit weren't by chapter, they were by the parts listed on the guide page which combine multiple chapters. The eleven parts that were up on Lit = 75 chapters or three hundred thousand words, that's the entire main story from start to Steph punching Chloe.

Dangling_Participles

Yeah, that kind of sucks! I first discovered AnimeCon Harem on Literotica years ago.

Zaralith

Was the intention to never post parts 12+ on lit, or is your submissions like Tefler where Patreon is a "few" chapters ahead? I know some stories in the past like the drow series were taken down by the author when they started physically publishing them. If the intention was to never publish the rest of the story on lit, I can kinda understand them not wanting to host something that the author has finished but paywalled part of. I think I have heard of some authors that have some content on lit as advertisement and other stories available for pay, but none immediately come to mind. Very happy to be in the Patreon though and can't wait for the rest and the physical stuff. Please, whatever the cost difference, sell a physical, on-the-shelf set of the book for whatever markup is necessary to have the same margins for your income when that happens, I would like to add it next to the other fine art I have

FortySixtyFour

Neither, 12 - 14 won't be posted up anywhere until they're out of edit and finished.

Zaralith

So they are just "not ready" for sites like Lit and will be eventually, and the admins didn't like that answer. Boo

Newq

122+ chapters yes, but minus the patreon-exclusive side story and bundled up into 14 parts; 11 of which seemed to have been released on Literotica from what I was able to find. I should have been more clearer since the author labels their chapters as sections of a 'part', however I was going off Literotica's message calling them 'chapters'. Now, if the author did only release 11 chapters out of 122(minus side story) then I would be in agreement with the teaser accusation. Though, this misunderstanding could have been the reason why it was taken down because the volunteer mistook 11 out of 14 'parts' as 11 out of 122 'chapters' when they viewed author's patreon.

Newq

Is it possible the volunteer mistook your 11-out-of-14 'Parts' as 11-out-of-122 'chapters'? They did mention Part 11 as Chapter 11 in their message.
