Dude hell yes! Glad this story is getting more recognition, it's tied for my favorite and I love to see you doing well. Question, do you as the autbor get money when people fast pass on Webtoons? Or does it mainly go to the site?

That's exactly why I was asking. If webtoons is going to monopolize fast pass money, I'd rather wait and read each episode when it launches. If, on the other hand, fast pass helps our awesome creator out, then I'm definitely using them. :)

Additional question - you may have talked about this in another post or on the discord but is there a reason you aren't credited on the Webtoon page? It says it's written by Alyssa Villaire which I am 99%(?) sure isn't you and is just the person who has written the text for the Webtoon adaptation. I find it super odd that Webtoon/Naver didn't credit you by name or at least link to the original work especially since it's actually been published now.

It looks like they have a line at the very end of the chapters mentioning it's based on this novel. Not enough of a mention in my opinion but better than nothing at all.

Yea, on the website there's a line that 40 is the original creator and it links to this Patreon. It's just odd that the same mention isn't there on the Android summary.

I too am wondering why the changes? Compressing things a little; sure, different medium, whatever. Major plot points? *That* sounds like an interesting story!

I will get a small %, but I'm not sure how small the % will wind up being just yet. I imagine Webtoon takes the lion's share and then most of the rest is divvied up to the artist and writer they have there, then after that the remaining sliver is split between Aethon and me.

Understood. I'll fast pass the first 20 or so chapters to support you and show webtoons the story is in demand, then probably chill a bit. I'm not 100% sold on the narrative changes I'm seeing but overall the quality is great.

Just got to the end of the 2nd chapter. It is very well done. Only "mistake" so far, is that Tabitha's room is way too big. It literally should only have a bed, and the room to lie beside the bed.

It feels like a fanfiction rather than an adaptation. I wouldn't mind the changes if they involved you more. I read 5 chapters free and fast-passed to 10 to see if the quality was worth reading and it kind of feels like Boruto vs Naruto.

I also noticed a lot of changes the 2045 Tabitha wasn't as thin as described and the age changed from 13 to 16 so already in high school.

Feels like someone copied your homework but changed just enough to not get caught. Not sure what they thought the changes would add and the depictions of the trailer make it look like a mansion.
