I was born in the suburbs… but I’ll always be a city girl.

I used to take the train into New York City from Connecticut, where I grew up. And what a blessing that was. I didn’t realize how much so until I started traveling and had people gasp — “You went to Manhattan when you were a little girl? Broadway and Central Park were just a train ride away?!” Indeed, I did, and they were. It felt like my backyard. I could get around.

I felt such a sense of ease and comfort in the bustle of the big city life. I always longed to be there.

The city renews me. No matter what I’m going through, walking around its streets, I am reborn.

The people. The possibilities. The sky-high buildings. The way you walk into a cafe or restaurant or club or clothing store or park and are instantly transported elsewhere.

Oh, it’s pure magic... I’ll never get over it.

And New York — I’ll never quit you.

Strato Man

Is there any landscape to which you are not well-suited? 🥰

Strato Man

Indeed. The flexibility of a chameleon, but the style of a peacock. 🥰
