I’ve been waiting my whole life for this moment!

He has grown up in Venice, in a family of Gondoliers who have been doing this work for many generations. What an honor and a privilege to take this ride!

Venice is a TRULY magical, one-of-a-kind place. The more I discover about this city built atop silt and stilts, the more I am impressed.

A collection of tiny islands (about 120), with an unfathomable amount of bridges between them (in the range of 300-400).

A crossing point for Europe, Asia, the Middle East, Africa.

A trading post for countless cultures.

A city of influence, a city of magnificence.

The outstanding craftsmanship of the artisans, the delicious food (the seafood 😭😭😭), the classically trained musicians scattered throughout the city, the famed Carnival masks you will not find anywhere else the way you will find them here, the poetic and laid-back sensibilities of the Venetians.

I haven’t been everywhere, but I can promise you this — in this world, there is no place like Venice… 🎭
