This is a longer panel long episodeepisode to celebrate that we are on PRIDE WEEKEND! (Pride Day is on June 28th, but this year it lands on Monday and Mondays are not a good day to post lmao)I wanted to address kinks at Pride, but after reading Webtoon comments rejecting the idea of Queer-exclusive protests on Pride, I had to make this episode to show people that queer-Exclusive spaces in Pride are necessary. Not only for our safet, but also because Allies are not a part of the Queer community.The job of Allies is to protect, help, and give us opportunities, not being the center of attention in Queer-focused events/protests.Yes, allies can go to Pride, of course they can, and they're welcome, but I've seen plenty of times how they take over our spaces. How they make our safe space their own and end up making us feel irrelevant in places where Queer people should be the focus.And I want to finish with this: Not being a homophobe doesn't make you an Ally. It makes you an Ally if you help us, protect us, respect us, give us opportunities and don't take over our spaces. Being an Ally is actively making our life easier, not just not being a homophobe.With that being said, Happy Pride, be safe, drink water, and don't feel rpessured to come out if you're not ready yet!
