Hi there! Merry Christmas and happy holidays! As always, here is an update for you.

 ~Introduction

Right now I have a lot of difficulties to choose what I want to show you in the next video. Right after I choose a topic I later abandon it, because I either lose a motivation or have a fear that it would be an unpopular video with a small amount of views.

For instance, the video where I speak about Remastered version got 500k views in a week and it is a freaking awesome result! As a result, I see that people loved it and it gave me a motivation to work on similar projects in the future. Yes, I wasted a lot of time working on it, but it was worth it.

On the other hand, GTA 3 video where I showed you a restored beta mission has less views than my average video. Despite the fact that I wasted a lot of time working on it, I guess, it wasn't really worth it.

You don't see it, but in the past I had to:

Investigate the source code.

Find the way to restore this beta mission.

Optimize the code in order to play it in the final version of the game.

Compare this beta mission with the final game.

Find some traces in the old magazines.

Come up with a video to show you this beta mission.

Rewrite the script at least two times to optimize the storytelling.

But as a result, people were more interested in watching at me nagging about R* Warehouse.  😕

And this is where I lost my mind. I am doing these videos during my free time and usually  after a work. I won't gonna lie, seeing just 50k on GTA 3 Beta video screws up with my motivation. As a creator I want to see that people are interested in my creation and I want to find those topics which will be demanded.

I am doing these videos while I can and while I have a spare time. Right now, I think, that it will be better to work on something global rather than on minor stuff. As a result, I decided to work on "GTA SA - Strange Japanese Censorship".

~ GTA SA - Strange Japanese Censorship (Working title)In this video we will be looking at PS2 Japanese version of the game and its strange censorship. The changes are pretty strange and I guess, it is a freaking nice topic to discuss.

Did you know that construction site near Doherty garage in this version belongs to Ballas? Yes, it doesn't make any sense, but "Rating Organization" wasn't happy that Japanese gamers would kill innocent workers during this mission. Instead of cutting some missions, the developers decided to rewrite their story.  Some sub-missions were entirely cut, sadly.

Moreover, a lot of cutscenes were altered. For instance, the scene where B Dup's chick offers Sweet to take drugs is absent in their version. In the rest cutscenes they removed prohibited objects. For instance, Tenpenny should have a bong in this cutscene, but in Japanese version he holds nothing.

There are lots of other weird stuff in this version and in my opinion, I should present them in a video.

~

Some of you may already know that I was working on this video in the past, but then I abandoned it. The reason was because I had a fear that the video would receive +18 tag.  As I heard, Youtube has changed terms about gore in the video games and made them softer. This is a freaking nice change, because a lot of censorship in this game involves gore. Speaking of a sexual content and drugs, there is no problem to blur or hide some stuff. This is what I should think about. Right now I see this video as my future video.

I have a lot of notes on my PC about Japanese version. I also had some people who helped me to translate Japanese subtitles and we found a lot. The work continues. It won't be easy, but I am ready, I guess.

If you are just making videos of what the people are asking for, or just simply are getting more views it could be a temporary motivation but i think in a long term, this will not lead to any success at all. Your first priority should always be you and yourself having fun in what u are doing, this leads to your videos having a better quality because you care about the content you are making. (btw your videos always had a high quality dont get me wrong). Im just saying this because there were alot of good content creators on youtube that made videos just for the sake of satisfying the audience but became demotivated after a while. I just hope it wont be like that for you. Much love <3

Thanks for your feedback! Honestly, I have never done something that I didn't enjoy. The views, as I can see it, is a good sign for me to see how much people enjoyed something and my goal is to entertain people with obscure information. Also it helps to grow the channel. I won't gonna lie, I have a strange feeling that I will have the same result as those folks. If I see that something that I made with love and care didn't get views, I will try to find a "better" topic. Every single time I have less and less "better" topics to cover.
