For a video I’m hoping to get done this month, I have a few more designs I need to do and then I’m. Exceedingly tempted to redo the braixen because I Don’t Like him, but it all depends if I have enough time! Deadlines to meet and whatnot

I have three sponsor deadlines left that’ll hopefully be done by next month, at which point the channel reboot will officially start! Tbh I’m still sorting out those plans but I’m pretty positive they involve uploading deliberately less frequently to spend more time on bigger videos. Which! Is scary! I just hope it pays off!

Anyway have fun guessing the pokémon and which types they’ve become! Most of the pokemon are probably pretty easy to guess, hopefully the types are easy too, the easier to guess the better I did my job sdfghjkl

this is a comment i kept trying to leave on your most recent youtube video to help with google blunders, but bc i included websites, i THINK youtube kept deleting my comments (which is fair!! bc theres been so many scams with website links and whatnot) no matter how much i tried to obscure the links. but anyway, here's the comment in case im right (yes, i did essentially pay $2 just to confirm this comment probably doesnt get deleted lmao yes, my enneagram is Type 2, why do you ask): if you want less googling blunders, this twitter thread of tips should help: twitter. (space) com/chrishlad/status/1431674870299955206?lang=en (obviously don't include the "(space)", that's there in case patreon also deletes this for links. which is, again, fair. but this is me playing safe lmao) in my experience the - thing only tends to work with one word tho. but one such example of a good search with it would be: crab holding -knife . that would give you only the search results with "crab" and/or "holding", but doesn't show results where the word "knife" was used to describe the subject of a result. so the meme is gone from your results (at least, it is so lomg as people tagged it correctly). if you wanted the two words linked in that order tho (aka no results with just "crab" or just "holding", only results that have the words "crab holding" in that exact order), then the best google search term would be: "crab holding" -knife . this would then exclude search results about how to hold a crab and whatnot, due to quotation marks demanding the results have both words and in that order (unfortunately, this tip cannot work with "water bear" as "water bear" only seems refers to tardigrade so you would still get plenty of articles about them even if you do -tardigrade. so its a very useful tool, but sometimes google gets confused when a couplet is synonymous with the excluded term) also site: tag is helpful if you want your google search to only come from a specific source. like let's say you wanted your source to specifically be from National Geographic. youd search up: "crab holding" -knife site:www (space) .nationalgeographic. (space) com/ . and then youd pull up National Geographic articles about crabs that use sea anemone as "pom-poms" they can fight with. and if you put an "s" after "crab" (so "crabs holding") then youd also get other articles about "Sea crabs that decorate themselves with style" and so on and so forth i have ADHD too and those are the only three i ever remember how to use; tho as the twitter thread shows, there are plenty more if you have the brain capacity to store more (i personally don't). i hope this helps ease some of the annoyance with the "google blunders" as you so eloquently named them lmao theyve definitely helped me (and i double-checked my work, so you can follow along the three ways i refined your "crabs holding things" and see similar results come and go) again, i really hope this helped!! ♡ at any rate, i LOVED this video and your designs!! i thought they were so cute!! thanks for the fun entertainment ♡ and, as always, your editors hit it out of the park!! take all the time you need for your videos tho, im curious about what youre making but not curious enough to want you to risk being burnt out. take all the breaks you need now that your once-hobby has become your job. we can wait. much love to you and yours!! ♡♡♡

I think what's been throwing you off with braixens redesign color-wise is both the saturation AND the contrast of colors! look at sprigatitos new design for a great example, that little lad needs more contrast in the dark and light greens right? if i were to give a guess, i think gamefreak leans towards a low contrast deisgn to help it feel more like those original gen 1 watercolor artworks but im not too sure. Instead of the black and grey, a slightly darker and cooler gray on top of a lighter one would maybe work better? great designs all around though! that crab is as good as cannon in my eyes <3

Had a few thoughts for Braixen rewatching the video. 1- knights. They were the partners to knights, their armor fused with their fur, and now they have basically armor dresses. The chest fluff and legs actual plate. 2- metal dust. They took up residence in a *insert metal* mine and the dust got in their fur, eventually melting into damascus, which is stronger then normal steel. Simple shapes replacing large areas, decorated with contrasting designs. 3- jewelry. They were the partners of jewelers and now adorn themselves with jewels they inset into their gold fur. If you ever get back to it, these could be fun.
