Okay, so I'm little nervous about posting this, as this is such a big project that will take some time to finish but this is one of those "Legacy Projects" I like to do, like the Middle Earth map that I can't sell or do much with, other than I think it needs to be made.

Of course this map is just a fan piece really and I don't have any relationship with Wizards of the Coast, but hopefully I can make something useful and cool!

Drawing something that means a lot to people in my own style in order to bring that world to life, is awesome though and a few days ago I started drawing Faerûn!

And I mean the whole thing, as much as I could fit, not just the Sword Coast! The coastlines and major lakes are done and I'm working on the waves right now but I'm pretty sure I can finish at least the line art version within a decent amount of time.

So here are the WIP pictures so far!

Oh if you want to open the whole thing, right click on the first image and click view image, don't forget to zoom in :)

The entire map is 13200x9000 Pixels at 300 ppi or 44x30 inches and just shy of the full A0 size on paper. This is easily the largest map I've ever made.

This may seem silly but I've been making a point of collecting as many maps of faerun as I can. If that's even helpful I'd be happy to share.

That is really awesome. Been looking for a nice D&D map to print and frame :) looking forward to seeing it progress.

By the way, you could sell copies of the map on The Dungeon Master's Guild, as long as you agree to their terms. I understand that essentially you agree that you are not making a claim to their IP and they take a percentage of the fees.
