Lately, I've been wanting to try a new hobby. I've been really interested in watercolors, and I feel like they're even easier to transport than acrylics (since you have to wait for those to dry, and all that). So, I went out to a park to paint, surrounded by the element of water 🤍.I didn’t want to do anything too complicated, especially since I don’t have much experience with watercolors. But this time, I made sure to use the right paper! (Gouache paper). I painted this piece based on a reference✨.It was so relaxing and fun! I feel like watercolors have a magical touch because I didn’t know how this would look until it dried. I really liked how it turned out. This is literally my first little drawing in my sketchbook with this type of paper and watercolors.I’d love to keep doing this when I can—maybe once a week 💖. With so many things to do—comic work, commissions, and everything else—a two-hour break like this makes a big difference.🥺😚🩷Looking at this little painting, do you have any suggestions or watercolor tips I could use to improve? Would you like to see more of these kinds of pieces?🥰
