As always, I love leaving a little update here about how I’ve lived each month—to remember my journey as an artist and share it with you all 💖🫶

I think at the beginning of the month I got the flu lol! What a great start 😂 But thankfully it didn’t last long, maybe around 3 days at most. It did give me time to discover new shows, rest, and once again realize that I needed to slow down the daily pace of work I had been keeping XD. I don’t know, but honestly sometimes I get so excited and passionate about art that I end up overworking—does that happen to you too?

I also went out more often to paint with watercolors! This month was a record—I’ll show them below (honestly, they’re made just for me—to practice, enjoy, and explore, not really for the public), so you’ll notice they look quite different from what you usually see from me 🫶

And well, the “rush” happened around mid to late March! Alex Aster’s new book (Starside) was about to release, so I created a lot of art! I also did a collaboration with Huion, tried my first large tablet, and hosted a DTIYS for reaching 250K on IG!!! I’m so happy—this was one of my goals for the year, and it feels like such a dream to have achieved it. Before thinking about more numbers or the next goal, I really want to enjoy this moment and feel satisfied with it.

I also managed to finish another comic chapter—it was a really hard one, since it has a lot of backgrounds (it’s #61). You’ll see when it comes out—if you remember this post by then XD. But when I finally finished it, it felt like a total chef’s kiss—of course, I was completely exhausted. Right after, I just wanted to go touch some grass (literally yesterday lol) to relax after all those deadlines and deliveries.

Now that April is starting, there’s still a lot to do, but I feel like I can finally breathe again—and do it calmly.

I’m also working on something really exciting with a brand—you’ll hear more about it soon, but it has to do with… learning 👀✨
