During this month's recording of our podcast, we received a question from a Patron about our thoughts on No Place Like Home, a feature-length movie put together by Ryan back in 2007.We decided this segment would work best as a standalone piece, so here it is for Patrons-only. We dive into other movies we were making that summer and discuss the lost age of feature-length, backyard movie making that was all the rage on YouTube at the time.Watch It Here!

Wow, thanks so much again for the elaborate answer! It's always really fun hearing you guys talk about your work, and I'm especially happy that such a discussion was sparked out of something I'd said! If you do end up making that No Place Like Home commentary track I'll definitely be looking forward to giving it a listen! While I'm at it, in case you're interested, the guide to Neil's Discography I mentioned back in my original question is getting close to completion, here it is here: https://docs.google.com/spreadsheets/d/1ErJh2IGzZLAmC7XwQuvdF1pde8MiQX0-ayZWjkpRjcc/edit?usp=sharing I'm intending on sharing this around for public consumption after a bit of re-ordering around and tidying things up so that any Lemon Demon fan can hopefully find their new favourite songs they never knew existed, just like how I did compiling this list. All three of you guys' work I feel is highly unappreciated, and I hope this helps even in the smallest way!

This was great. I really enjoyed No Place Like Home. I remember when it was posted and having to leave my computer for about 20 minutes so I could watch it without buffering. I have watched it a few times over the years, and I think it holds up very well. Yellow Brick Road holds up nicely as well, and I still listen to it regularly.

Thank you, Viva Reverie, for your question that was so epic, yours became its own segment.

Thanks for acknowledging the slur! I always loved No Place Like Home, and that was the one thing that always made me cringe about it. This segment was really interesting and informative.

Jake came and spoke at my college at a conference on Baruch Spinoza a few weeks ago. When I read his name on the pamphlet I refused to believe it was the same person until I met him face to face lol. I really wanted to pick his brain a bit on No Place Like Home but was too shy, so I'm glad you guys did some commentary on it! I've always been a Wizard of Oz fan so the movie was right up my alley and I was so awed by the production back in the early days of Youtube.
