More life, Less art - What's been happening (Patreon)

I feel I owe it to my patrons to mention how slow things have been with development. I know that making a few sketches for a $4 reward seems like very little (and it is), but a lot of my process has been hampered lately since the start of this year and for good reason.
I've been making necessary life changes for the betterment of my health. My mornings are spent at the gym, I'm going to physical therapy once a week to treat chronic shoulder pain, I'm eating (and preparing) salads for lunch, cooking dinners and cleaning the house every weekend.
Commissions have also become a necessity rather than a way to make some side cash and I'm certainly feeling the squeeze after spending a week away with family this month to see my brothers and in-laws out of state, so this week I need to do as many comms as I can before the month ends.
I know people will understand but it's still not great knowing patronage has been on a decline and very little art has been made. I can't really help but feel tired and achy all the time.
I'm still fully on board with the date sim and had every intention to make it a years long process as to not get burned out. The sprite art is a huge part of the development. Making the assets will take a brunt of the work off development as the rest is just playing around with them in code. One of the reasons why everything is sketched out now is because I want to make sure every sprite works together in the same scene before fully rendering them out.
Anyway, felt it necessary to keep y'all up to date.
