Wires Crossed is officially finished! Thank you so much for reading, I hope you enjoyed it. In the coming weeks I plan on compiling the full comic and making it available for download. There are still a couple of loose ends and I have a vague idea for an epilogue floating in my head that I may revisit someday, but for now it’s on to the next project.

When I was in France I put together a rough draft of a short comic titled Lost Infinity. (You can see an edited spoiler-light preview of that draft here.) It’s the first time I’ve really scripted and drafted a full comic in advance, and I’m very excited to finish it. (Anecdotally, I’d say I’ve gotten more positive response to this rough draft than anything else I’ve made in my life. So… look forward to that.)

The release is going to be a little different than usual. Rather than go week by week, I plan to release it in batches across a couple of months. There’s a few reasons for this. For one, I want to try working on the comic as a whole rather than going at it a page at a time. Something that can be rewarding but also frustrating is looking back at a comic and seeing how much the style has improved and changed over time (you can see this very dramatically with Wires Crossed). Lost Infinity is a short comic, less than 30 pages, and so I want to try to keep things as consistent as possible. Second, I just think the story works better if you’re reading it in parts. It seems silly to me to give my patrons, the people who pay me, a worse experience than those who don’t. You’ll still be getting updates a week earlier than everyone else, it just means you’ll have to wait a month for the next one. In other words, I’m going youtuber with it.

I’m also giving myself some generous lead time before releasing the first part. A little more than three months, in fact. This is so I can get as much as done as I can early, but there is also the possibility of me being scheduled for bottom surgery sometime before the end of the year. I, frankly, have no idea how this will impact my work schedule. Depending on how it goes I could be back on my feet in a week, or in six months. It might not even get scheduled at all! I just don’t know. So we’re playing it by ear. The generous lead time will hopefully allow me to maintain a consistent schedule once Lost Infinity starts releasing, regardless of what happens. I’m setting the first part to release early on patreon September 17th, with a public release September 24th. If anything forces me to delay that date, I’ll let you know. However, my hope is that Lost Infinity will be fully finished before 2027.

While you wait I still plan on making more little Mandy/Halply comics and more horny art tasteful pinups. There’s no set schedule for that, since part of the joy of those is getting to be impulsive with them. As such I’m not making any promises, but I don’t think you’ll be disappointed ether. All I can think about while I’ve been on vacation this past week is how bad I want to get back home and draw, which has never really happened to me before. It’d be foolish for me to rely on this feeling, but so long as it’s here I have every intention of riding the wave. A lot of that has come from the immense positive feedback from my recent work, and from all of you here on patreon. I really cannot thank you enough for your support.

Thank you ♡

Molly
