Hey so! While I really didn't want to have to delay the release of Lost Infinity, fortunately this is for a very good reason. I have bottom surgery scheduled for September! I'm very excited and I'm very much looking forward to it, but also I can see the writing on the wall here and... yeah no I don't think there's any way for me to keep the September date and maintain a consistent release schedule without really pushing myself.

Part of that also is I haven't gotten quite as much done as I would like, mostly as a consequence of visiting family and working on those Halply/Mandy comics. Don't get me wrong, those have been a lot of fun, and they actually really helped me refine the aesthetic I'm going for in Lost Infinity. But it does come at the cost of me not having worked on this comic as much as I planned. I'm really not that far behind, it's the sort of behind that I could easily catch up on... if I didn't have bottom surgery scheduled next month.

To clarify, October 22nd will be the early release date for paying patrons, with October 29th being the public release. I'm hoping that this will be a gross over correction, because once the ball gets rolling I really don't want to have to delay any future releases. Also, while I definitely would have preferred to keep the original release schedule, I do think the comic will feel somewhat appropriate for Halloween...

Below the paywall I've included some previews of what I've been working on, both as a thank you for your patience and as a way to show "hey, I promise I've been working on this, I'm so excited for it, you have no idea." Story-wise there's nothing new from the last preview, so if you looked at that you're pretty safe to look at this (although there is an entirely new page now to set the scene). I'm also including comparisons to the rough draft, because why not? I think it's fun. Please note that many of the images in this preview are works in progress and subject to change. If you would like to remain totally spoiler-free... don't look. Obviously.

Thank you again for bearing with me as I put all of this together. I am actually very pleased with how it's coming along so far.
