A Belated 2023 Wrap (Patreon)

(I would have made this post sooner, but I had a minor concussion. I have since recovered.)

Congratulations everyone! We made it through another year together.

You want to know something weird? My 2023 was really, really good. My patreon support doubled, I moved into a new place, and I got married! Plus I made a lot of good art. Things have been going really well, and I'm looking forward to continuing to work on new art in the new year.

First off, Weird Times will be returning in a... soon-ish capacity. Our 10 page pilot was very received and both Michael and I agreed we want to continue it. I'll give more details once some of those pages are actually made, but you can look forward to more Jerry, Carlos, and R'thaaar (and others) in the near future.

Weekly sketch polls experiment I started last year and that worked out really well, and I feel like it actually resulted in better art than the previous monthly model. They will be continuing again this year starting this week!

And of course, Wires Crossed will be continuing its regular weekly updates. There are some major story beats coming up I've been looking forward to for years now, so I'm pretty excited. I hope you all enjoy them as well.

Lastly, I want to say thank you for supporting me all through last year, but especially through December. Taking the month off really helps me reflect on my work and direct where it's going for the new year. That was especially true this past month, as I boarded out a sequence where Mia transforms into a horrible mechanical tentacle monster and eats Baxter before realizing that wasn't really the direction I wanted to take the comic. Cool, but story-wise, probably not correct.

(It's fine, don't worry about it.)

As promised, I've donated half of my earnings from last month to the Palestine Children's Relief Fund. If you would like to donate as well, you can visit their website at https://www.pcrf.net/

Thank you all again for your support. I look forward to continuing to make art for you all in the new year.
