Finished the first of the pin-ups! (And the second winner is Alisa...)I wanted to make a Halloween version, but instead I had an existential-creative crisis and made three versions of her face... XD (I'll post a poll right away)First, I spent a long time looking at my older work (which I don’t usually do), dug out some old .psd files, and tried to recreate that shading style - smooth in the final result and more predictable to work with, though no less time-consuming.And second, I looked at how I’ve drawn Helga over the years... and she looks so different in every single one!! All my characters keep looking different from one drawing to the next, no matter how many reference sheets I make for myself XD

I think the next step is to pick the versions of the characters I like best, MAKE YET MORE REFERENCE SHEETS, and FORCE myself to stick to them!
