I’ve put together another reference sheet, incorporating some elements from my older artwork. Thanks to everyone who voted on Helga’s facial markings!! I’ve decided to make a few small updates:

instead of white spots above her brows, she now has white markings around her eyes - these are the spots she touches up with pink

brought back the darker belly from my earlier drawings!

Plus, I added a gradient transition along her back; I used to get confused myself about exactly where that boundary should be! xD

And ugh! I had to look back at my old work to figure out what Helga is supposed to look like. Some of my older and even not-so-old pieces are just terrible, it’s a bit disheartening. x.x Thank you for sticking with me, even when I occasionally put out some real junk!! I suppose these "unsuccessful" pieces are an inevitable result of the fact that I often keep drawing even when I’m exhausted or lack motivation, just to make sure I get everything done in time. But thankfully, most of my work still turns out pretty well (I think)!

Character inconsistencies don't mean your art is junk! I always thought any adjustments were intentional, or not a big deal. Don't be too harsh on yourself.

She is fantastic😍—truly, incredibly beautiful❤️. I actually think this reference sheet for Helga is more refined than the previous one (though that’s just my opinion). Her features are drawn with greater delicacy. Her physique remains as voluptuous as ever—her breasts, hips, midsection, and even her ears—with every detail pushed to an extreme level of beauty that goes beyond what the eye can fully take in. Simply superb. The idea of the white outlines around her eyes is lovely and very clever—as is the fact that she can apply makeup to them however she likes. It goes to show that the anthropomorphic species you’ve created offers a level of variety that the human form could never match; and the fact that your "girls" can wear makeup sets the bar exceptionally high—far higher than what you’d see with human characters. Your earlier work isn't "ugly" by any means—it’s just different—and it’s a joy to see it reworked and evolving. I truly admire your commitment to making every one of your characters as beautiful as they can possibly be. The gradient on her back has also evolved and become more complex; it turns the character into a work of art in her own right, and I absolutely love how the markings on her back are rendered. If I might offer one small observation: I also really liked the two brown stripes she used to have on either side of her hips, which extended down along her midsection toward her lower abdomen. That said, this minor change in no way diminishes the extensive, high-quality work you’ve put into Helga. Thank you so much, Iskra—it’s a real feast for the eyes!🥴☺️❤️

Guh... Helga... I remember developing a massive crush on her at a time when I think I just needed a character to simp over. As a fellow fox, I think her design is still drop dead gorgeous. I love her colors and her fur patterns. The color of her hair fade and the eyeshadow she uses. It felt good to idolize her a little, but now I put a lot of that energy into developing the relationships between my own OC's. I still absolutely carry a certain fondness for Helga.
