I had to take it to the repair shop, hopefully they’ll be able to save all the data D:

Ну, если отказал не жёсткий, а матплата и/или другие комплектующие, то данные спасти всё-таки можно... Но надеюсь, тебе удастся набрать и на хороший комп/ноут, если этот совсем уж старый) Если не особо, всё равно пожелаю удачи с восстановлением)

If its not the HDD that broke, than your Data should be save ;) Hope they can fix it.

If your drive died. Which if true then your programs would crash commonly.

Да, старая техника, сколько её ни чини, рано или поздно в негодность приходит... Самое главное, чтобы у старого твоего ноута хотя бы жёсткий был более-менее жив, чтобы можно было вытащить исходники, недоделанные и невыпущенные работы) Я уже молчу о кистях.

Sorry to hear about that. taking one's computer into the shop is always a pain.

I'm sure they can fix it with no problems. My Hard drive died a couple months ago, computer problems are annoying but thats life. Super important to have everything backed up on a external hard drive just encase.
