First of all, I'm still strong and positive! People around are nice and caring, my kitty is here and the weather is fine ^^ Things are simply getting a bit difficult for me.

A month ago I had to apologize about a few day delay because I had a hypertensive crisis... Now I have to apologize because my state is only getting worse and soon I might not be able to draw. But don't worry, I will turn Patreon charges off for a month if I won't be able to complete all the tiers this month! ^^ So you will get the completed archive later anyways! :)

Now what's happening: since my first crisis happened, the blood pressure peaks kept attacking me for no reason both with everyday dizziness, weakness, temperature, head and stomach aches. I've spent my whole monthy income on medical checkups and found out I've got: thyroid problems, mold allergy while every flat is molded here, bladder inflammation, either a gastritis or a stomach ulcer (doc wasn't sure, I'm going to get a gastroscopy today) and of course I know my nerves are totally off but I still cannot get a psychiatrist appointment. Gosh! I had my last serious checkup just ONE YEAR AGO and I was absolutely healthy then! Local doctors said I must go to Turkey and visit a clinic there, so I've got plane tickets from 13th to 24th of Feb and a surgery appointment on 16th of Feb (I'm going to get my laptop and my tablet with me though, maybe it will be possible to enjoy some drawing when recovering).

However, all of this is going to suck my wallet dry while my bf still has no income and my roomate has left the country so even a tiny studio isn't affordable for us anymore. On top of that my PayPal account and my money there are unavailable because of an accident ( https://www.furaffinity.net/journal/10458062/ )

Sooo it seems like we've got no choice now but going back home despite staying there might be not safe (especially for men) but if you've got some ideas or advice that would be helpful! Thank you for being so kind to me! ^^

Oh my...i'm not even sure what advice I can realistically give. This is just a crazy and stressful situation that I can't even imagine. I think if anything, try to focus completely on yourself and don't do anything that you aren't comfortable doing. The big thing of course would be income. Personally, i'm ok with giving you my $5, and maybe more if I can manage. I know a lot of artists in your region have swapped over to using Boosty as a method of payment, so maybe you could try that. Through Boosty, you could also see if people are willing to just donate to help cover some of the funds you need. This community is amazing, and you have a lot of wonderful fans, i'm sure people will absolutely be more than willing to help! I don't mean this in a bad way eitehr, but if you're still willing and able to draw, you could always announce a temporary discount to your commissions to see if more people would be willing to jump in than normal and maybe get some quick money in. I only wish I could maybe think of more or do literally anything to help...but you're on the other side of the planet. Will be thinking of you and wishing you the very best! Although it may be hard now, all we can ever do is keep moving forward and doing the best with what we have; always try your very best to look at the bright side and find a reason to smile even in the face of despair!

Second, are the links on your FA for other monetary gifts (Starting with K and B, don't know if Patreon censors those so just being careful) still accessible to you? I'd still like to help with a few bucks if that's at all possible.

I'm terribly sorry you're going through such difficulties and I wish we could all help better. I would say that it would appear the biggest priority is your boyfriend securing a job to help keep you out of your old country. I don't know if he's waiting for a job in his field or whatever but anything would be acceptable. Retail, fast food, customer service, anything to support you both for now would probably be the biggest help to keep you to stable for the time being

Iskra, Im sorry you are passing through some difficult times and I hope your health improves soon. In my case, I've been following you for some years and I dont mind keeping my support for you without any rewards in the next month or so, because you are an amazing person and an amazing artist with characters that cheer me up in my own dark times, so of course i want to help you back. Now, i also understand that other people here would riot if they dont get their monthly rewards on time, so i guess turning off the patreon charges will save you some future headaches. But anyway, you dont need to go back to that war zone. Please, dont be timid and let us know of another channel to send you donations. Always remember that you are important to us.

oh crap, it's really painful, it hurts my heart to read your words. if you had to stop, and in particular the drawing to take care of yourself, it's completely normal, without health we are nothing. but i think you shouldn't suspend payments, if we don't have the art it doesn't matter, really. But stay safe, because with your health and what's going on in Russia is going to add extra stress, and I think you really don't need it right now. if your clinic appointment can already improve your condition, it will be a test to pass, hoping that it will improve your health. but please keep us informed of your decisions so that we can help you Iskra :/

Damn! I'm really sorry to hear all that. Personally i would prefer you don't disable Patreon next month. I'd happily contribute 10$ for you to get better and i'd happily contribute more if you were to set up PayPal donations (if the problem is resolved) or Boosty. Frankly, do whatever is necessary for you to get better. You have a few fans here that would happily support you financially.

I would second the sentiment of some others already presented - I think you should keep the patreon up and running even if you are unable to make art due to health issues. Probably even more on the lines - you should keep it up especially due to the health issues.

Hearing this just hurts me really! Im honestly not sure what to say or think about it all I just feel so extremely sorry for you. Trying the best to help you with patreon and everything I for myself would not mind if you let Patreon stay up to have atleast some income and I hope you can fix the paypal issue. Sadly there is not much I can do to help but I wish I could trying to support you as best as I can from here.

I'm really sorry to hear what you're going through.. I'm not sure what I can offer to help, I get the sense you are in a different corner of the world than me. But as others have said, focus on yourself! You are the most important person during hard times, I wouldn't even stress about drawing for Patreon until you're back in a better space. Though I think keeping the Patreon open is a good idea as a form of support. Like you've done here you can update people it won't be active for some time and those who choose to leave can but everyone else can stay as a way to support you. Hope things get better for you!

Heartfelt thoughts and prayers for you. For both your health and moving/staying situation. I really can't say I have much advice though as it is a very difficult one I'd be at a loss for too. I would be concerned about returning as it may be difficult to leave again if needed though. Don't feel bad about accepting some $ though. While some people throw out "I need help" notices you have never been one of them and you situation completely warrants it. You have always been one of the nicest and most genuine artists I have ran across and would be happy to help if possible. I also certainly would have no qualms about remaining a subscriber as long as needed until things settle back down. Focus on you and what's important. Let us know anyway we can help. Much ❤
