Ish

When that "A Kid Named Cudi" mixtape first came out, it changed/saved my life many times and been riding with Cudi ever since. Looking forward to yall going through the many gems in the discography. Hope yall really do Passion Pain and Demon Slayin' as well!

Cudi marathon coming 🙌 imo man on the moon 2 is the best album of the 3 and it got me through a tough time can't wait for that reaction and food and liquor too

WARNING

Love reliving some of my favorite albums with y’all, man! I think MOM2 is pretty damn good too, y’all should do that one & see how it compares in real time. Also, it’s def time for some Lupe! I’ll let you decide ( 🤣 ) if y’all gotta start w/ Food & Liquor but I can’t wait to see the review for The Cool (one of my all-time fav albums) Thanks for the content, keep killing it & happy holidays to y’all bro!

Yo, kinda random but i forgot to mention…. Pops’ lowkey disdain for Biggie is hilarious 😂🤣 (he might be moving into Diddy/John Legend territory soon lmao) But y’all were talking about Cudi having ushered in an era of Emo rap, which he did for a new generation (I’m sure Kanye would disagree with 808s as proof 😂 I was actually at the Pablo Tour concert where he went on that Cudi rant about how “we started all that Emo shit” lol…but we all know Cudi & T-Pain heavily influenced 808s so 🤷🏿‍♂️) But if you think about it, Biggie was one of the first (Ghetto Boys/Scarface, etc) to kind of be a direct cross of Emo x Gangster. I mean you can’t listen to Suicidal Thoughts & some of the songs/lines off his albums and not hear it, right? In a way its the Emo(tions) that seem to fuel the gangster lifestyle/persona and vice versa. But yea. Just food for thought. These are the types of things I think about while I watch y’all’s content, which is why I appreciate y’all! Love. Keep killin it.

Bro your dad said Billy Paul - War of the Gods and I had no idea Aaron May sampled that in Time. That’d be sick to show your dad that song and link it back to the orignal sample 🔥🔥
