"- Hey! Watch where you step, I'm down here!

- Doc? Oh wow, that whole shrinking thing didn't get any better while I was on patrol...

- Lt. Oxton, I order you to take this situation more seriously! You almost crushed me coming in the drop ship. If you're going to be the size of a skyscraper while helping me work on a solution, you'll need to be more careful!

- It's so funny, I can barely hear you down there... Well, technically, I'm not big. You're the one who's bug-size. I'd say about this small.

- Lena...

- Fine, fine... Let me take my shoes off and drop my pulse pistols. I'll contact HQ to find out more about your little predicament."

See why I used this render to represent the Tinier tier now? I couldn't help shrinking Mercy down a bit (lot) more. I'm particularly happy with how big Tracer seems to be in this one - she takes 3 quarters of the render!

As always, let me know what you think! It's the best way for me to improve :)

So I really love this one. I think what sells it for me is the physical mannerism, and the body language of both. For Tracer obviously the crouching yet looming figure and the obvious hand gesture. Then for mercy the little subtle hand held up towards her as if to desperately fend off a clumsy step, or the taunting perhaps. Its a really good one, hope to see a lot more great ones!

Thanks a lot Austin! It’s awesome to read someone who’s enjoying my renders and sharing what makes them work. That piece actually started with the hand gesture and was supposed to look a bit different pose-wise. Though by playing a bit around with angles, I realized the potential of the crouching+looming while taunting. I was sold on the idea immediately :D I like to think that Mercy is still in disbelief at what she’s seeing. She trying to reach for something she should be able to but realize how far away she really is. I really enjoy the concept of distance in my artworks. The idea that for a tiny, even though the giant is towering over them and filling their field of view, they are too far to be reached :)
