Jane Thomas

Season 1 ended with everyone thinking Jeremy will be the new vampire and S2 started with vampire caroline.

k

i felt caroline’s stress so hard this episode like wow the anxiety

Cristy

This has to be my favourite ep so far. It’s official, I hate Damon this episode and I love Caroline. I also love Bonnie and how protective she is of her friends (she is too good for this world). I am HERE for Caroline the vampire barbie and for her finally getting more screen time. You're right, Zuff, the hospital really is the best place to get turned into a vampire with all of those blood bags lol. Fun fact: apparently they used corn starch/syrup, peppermint extract and food colouring for the blood bags in the show. The first Caroline/Damon scene is EPIC! Yasss girl beat him. Think he deserved more than one shove though lol ngl. He really underestimates Caroline as a person and a vampire.

Camilla Rasmussen

Fun fact - blood is super watery and a very light color until it starts to dry which makes it thicken and darken.

jaselle

i think yall missed when elena said she wanted to go on the ferris wheel and kiss but they didn’t get the chance due to carolines shananigans so thats why stefan ended up taking her

jaselle

matt confessing that hes in love with caroline knowing he’d 100% go back to elena in a heartbeat 😭😭 pls

Karla Gonzalez

I could argue with Bonnie and say it’s also her fault that Caroline is a vampire since she was the one that stated that Damon should give his blood to save her 🤷🏻‍♀️😅 but in her eyes it’s always Damon’s fault lol

k

“father?” “gay and not around” LMAOOO why was that so funnyfhdjf

i mean she was desperate to keep caroline alive and probably didn’t expect her to die before the blood left her system😭 ofc it was a risk but i dont think she anticipated that at all and i like damon but it kinda is his and stefan’s fault that caroline was turned and that all this stuff including bonnies grandma dying happened

Shirlene Wright

Vamp Caroline is incredible. I am here for it! I love when she gets that crease in her forehead. When you see that.. she ain't playing around.

Jessica

Just wanna say you guys are amazing :) 🧛 thanks for uploading and for all your hard work. Don’t work too hard. And yes vamp Caroline is here.

We explain different things every episode but from following reactions, I’d say they don’t read any of it 😭

Max Romero

i love these watchalongs - i know it can be hard to sync but somehow the computer i have can have the different tabs screen of the vampire diaries in a little square and i just put it on top of this video its like perfecttt. love your videos yall

They read comments (or at least Rob does). In the intro part before the reaction he mentioned reading a comment on the last video about how it was said in an interview they had Damon snap Jeremy’s neck because he was becoming too likeable and they wanted to show he’s still a villain. So Rob probably reads the comments.

Giorgia M

Omgggggg even when Damon is doing something bad, you’ll blame Stefan because he didn’t stop him 😭 when we’ve already established Damon doesn’t listen and will full send it if someone tries to stop him. You guys are so sick and twisted 😂😂😂😂 you seemed more impacted by Stefan slapping Jeremy because he tried to kill himself than Damon killing Jeremy and then threatening his life AGAIN this episode. It’s genuinely so funny ❤️‍🩹 hahaha love you guys

Giorgia M

Yeah Elena said at the start that she wanted to be a normal high school girl and for Stefan to take her on the ferris wheel and kiss her at the top… that’s why he did that lol

jeanjackettt

the way yall comment on stefan needs to be studied omg... damon is not him sorry

Michelle

They do read the comments but reactions are filmed ahead of time so they may not always see/understand/mention things until like 2+ episodes later!

Giorgia M
>>133564879

I thought reading comments was an every now and then thing but thanks for the info!!! The past few episodes I’ve just been watching the full watchalong and then going to YouTube videos for the thoughts so that’s probably why I missed that. So that shows me lol

Giorgia M
>>133564879

Ahhh that makes sense Michelle, I was wondering because it took them like 5 episodes after the reveal of Alaric in the sun without his ring to stop thinking he was a vampire. I just thought if they missed something, they must not be seeing comments reminding them either. Good to know!!

For real, I was probably the same way my first watch when I was 10 or something but I don’t think I ever thought everything was Stefan’s fault for forcing Damon to turn, when Katherine was the one who orchestrated them turning and Damon was the one acting up constantly. But people can’t resist that man!!

CallingCollins

The Damon bias is crazy with you guys already lol Damon is his own person, and Stefan doesn't control what he does. So blaming him for what Damon does instead of holding Damon accountable is hilariously incorrect. Ya'll were more bothered by Stefan slapping Jeremy than ya'll were with Damon killing him and then man-handling him at the fair lol Also Bonnie told Damon to give Caroline blood so I think they shared responsibility, same with Katherine. Anyway, entertaining reaction as usual, can't wait for the next

It was the "Stefan is just letting Damon do this." for me instead of holding Damon accountable lmaaoo. I was like wait.. Stefan is NOT the stronger one in the situation regardless of making Damon turn 🤣

Karleigh Hurt

caroline is just that girl as a vampire like the best character arc

Karleigh Hurt

a super interesting thing about caroline being a vampire is before she was a big control freak and when youre a vampire everything about your personality is heightened, which is why she is probably the most natural vampire because she has an insane amount of self control. most vampires in this universe kill on their first feed but she didnt and she immediately knew how to compel after attempting her first try

Karleigh Hurt

but also the second season just infuriated me because elena is so keen on making everything about her but then also everyone wants to blame everything on damon.

zena

I love the reactions but I hate how they blame Stefan for grown people's actions.

Right because her putting others above herself the whole season was making about her? She literally did the exact opposite the whole season. Stefan and Damon were the ones making it all about Elena.
