Adora was very closed to the 2 girls that Emma killed, because of Adora she developed an addiction to her attentions and her taking care of her (in a sick way) so she got jealous and that’s why she killed then, the same way at the end she got jealous of the new friend receiving compliments. I don’t justify her but I think her mom fucked her up 😅 I think Adora knew cause they were working on the doll house together and the floor of teeth is the copy of the floor in Adora’s

I came for the pure horror on your faces at the end lmao. Gillian Flynn (the author of Sharp Objects and Gone Girl) is such an expert at writing about unhinged female rage. I'm so excited that her other book Dark Places is being adapted. It's my favorite book out of the ones she's published and there was a Dark Places movie that was not the best adaptation but it's getting the mini series treatment. As I mentioned in the first episode, the director of this was Jean-Marc Vallée who passed away sadly. He also directed the first season of Big Little Lies which is also amazing.
