There is a type... Ross is one of them.

infested infected do produce more of their own kind, however they are not fully infested until they act as a host for a worm. (Because hosts are constantly shedding worms, they may end up in a situation where they may not have a worm to spare their victims. In which case they may backtrack to find the worms they shed, or the infesters of others.)

Correct terminology for this group of infected is: infested (host with worm), infester (worm), uninfested (host without worm, which can include infected and uninfected).

Anal growth is a common side-effect of infection in the Growing Pandemic, and not specific to the infested. The anus will grow plush and engorged as the desire to be fucked increases. This is to more easily allow the entry of an infected penis, which due to their size would otherwise probably kill their victim. This is pretty much true for any other point an infected wishes to penetrate.

Words and thoughts do play a role in how quickly an uninfected transitions to an infected. Corrupted thoughts lead to a more willing mind, and allows for the body to be more accepting of what's occurring to them.

Despite being more resistant to the advances of infected, people with homosexual tendencies (especially if their perception of homosexuality is as taboo) when infected are more quickly to succumb to it. They're just on the right "frequency" to start with.

*Addendum*

Mature infester worm vs Immature infester wormling

You will only typically see an infested with one mature infester. It is the original they were infested with, and it will never exit their host. Removal is terminal.

Immature infesters are the offspring of the mature infester. The host regularly sheds these either through ejaculation, or when the wormling exits them through literally any means you can imagine.

Immature infesters mature by merging with other immature infesters, or through the absorption of infected/corrupted fluids. The process may take several days, or even weeks.

Infested (Progenitors) can quickly infect (and corrupt) uninfested with large numbers of these immature infesters, but it will take a long time for them to mature into a new infested.

To ensure proper feeding of the immature infesters, or to keep their offspring close until a mature infester is found, they will remain locked to one another, small barbs (or knot, or both) keeping progenitor and progeny stuck to one another.

In somewhat rarer cases Progeny and Progenitor may merge. The circumstances are not quite known, but assumed to be the result of blood relation (Father, Brother, Son, etc).

You have outdone yourself with drawing their muscles! 💪🏻 Kudos! It's incredibly hot to see! Your point on homosexuality is not fully clear to me. Would you be willing to elaborate, please? Also, with our other infected the personality of the "victim"/lucky bastard remains the same besides becoming a manly gay slut and possibly a hot and horny himbo too. In this Infested comic there also appears to be a mental change with the psychological dominance of the receiver, as they begin to speak with a terse staccato, follow some inscrutable dragonlike code, and of course focus more intentionally on psychologically dominating their prey to accelerate their path toward Corruption.
