Just finished the normal episode and refreshed the Patreon app and this popped up so lucky

V

Maya reading bloodborne lore straight faced was so funny

ROGO27

Personally not a fan of the Reddit segments, but happy to watch whatever

Megan Mulherin

How to get in the discord? I’ve been in Patreon and haven’t figured it out

Sophia

I think only doing a Reddit recap once a month is a good idea

Sophia

Same😭

Avery

If you go to the membership tab under "quick links" there is a link that lets you join 😁

Squatch

Co stream Challenge idea: beer pong with challenges (like the otv videos) but instead of cups and balls, it's knife throwing at a board with targets arranged like beer pong cups.

Katie

a girls trip with that group would be god tier i can’t wait

Eric C

That guy knows Maya is famous and wants her clout and money

77katz77

Jason mentioned, add it to the counter!

This feels like an OG Wine About It ep, love the Drama

Shaun Cheah

Maya was friendly with him once and it was the most positive interaction he ever had with a woman in his life up to that point and nothing since then has even come close, and so when he breaks down and gets very drunk or sad or vulnerable, she is the one to whom his thoughts return. Once every two years he's not able to hold back any more and he reaches out, not really expecting anything but also not really knowing what else to do and he can't hold back anymore anyway; just gotta let it out before he can retreat for another two years. "For you, the day Maya Higa graced your party was the most important day of your life. But for her, it was Tuesday."

Sasha__qt

Props to editor for showing Love Is Blind contestants!

aeri

I like the reddit segments, since i usually wouldn't go on reddit myself and I would have never known about that one intern story about a samsung love story gone wrong, it was so juciy

Taylor

I think the reddit recap being once or twice a month would be better. I also think it needs someone to go through the posts ahead of time and get the ones worth reading or watching.

Valuyen

tbh, i wanna give Trevor some grace. I wanna think that the relationship he had with that girl was toxic and codependent. A relationship where they just couldn't let go of each other, had strong emotional connections with each other, and kept coming back to each other after conflicts. Then Trevor found another chance with Love is Blind. Maybe I'm wrong tho, idk.

Aura

All the respect to QT, but can't she put the phone away for the two hours a week during the pod? Feels like half the time topics die down cause she's on the phone and not listening. It's actively making this pod worse.

Lina

That’s an inside thought!

Aura

Yeah she's listening but not actively. Maya is just talking to herself at that point. I don't know how you can make the argument that texting, taking calls, and scrolling twitter is not making the show worse.

Dorak

It's that, for me at least, some of the posts there are a bit cringe, like links to tiktoks or memes that 1 person found funny/made about either Maya or QT and it's very hit or miss. :/ I think the issue stems from subreddits being usually good to ask questions about a specific topic and here we have ~2h of content with topics that vary every week and a lot is about their personal life (ie. this one where Maya talks about someone from college) that you can't really relate or ask questions about unlike subs that are for video games, relationships, politics or even a streamer in general, especially because it's not livestreamed and the subjects are spontaneous so people can only post after seeing the episode which means they would only see the posts on the next podcast. And thus most of the posts are about "they should do x or y" or "this [meme/tiktok] reminded me of Maya/QT" or a question unrelated to the last episode of the podcast to one of them.

Hisham

Maya have the Weirdest dating/hook up stories.

ashyc

I’m so glad I don’t have to watch love is blind anymore , 10/10 recap 👏🏼

Cindy A

Hello 👋🏽 Can someone leave a timestamp of when they stop talking about Love is Blind? I haven't watched the latest season yet 😅

ManlyTorchic

Wild to say “I think we had a connection and we have a similar sense of humor” when from this point Maya doesn’t remember him for the life of her and maybe might not vibe with his humor or not.

ManlyTorchic

Chill it’s not that serious Tom

Autie Dino

The 'Love Is Blind but the 'ugliest' people we can find' thing kinda WAS a show in UK called 'Too Ugly for Love' but was really messed up. had people with amputations, scarring, mental conditions, shouldn't have been made imo

Klav

Auxxine

Once a month recap is good for the reddit :)

Chris

this comment is like slime’s “always with the phone” but if he was a loser

Chris

yeah i kinda agree. i don’t think it’s an excuse for being shitty, but it’s definitely a possible reason. hurt people hurt people or whatever.

Chris

i’ve been resisting watching love is blind but the summary qt gave legit made my jaw drop a few times, i just might watch the next season

Nesoro

Girl is busy what do you want her to do? She has literally talked on the pod about how she can't even take an hour away for therapy. Chill out dude it's not that serious.

Julie T

i think the college guy saw that maya lost the nose goes where loser has to cheat on their boyfriend so hes just jumping on the opportunity

Cindy A

Thank you!!

BisonHero

If I can offer my take on Fear& and QT getting cut off, I think it's a systemic problem that will never be fixed. As an outside observer, the show is chaotic, everybody interrupts everybody all the time (I can't tell if QT gets interrupted more and/or it clearly bothers her more when her story/topic gets derailed, but even the men interrupt each other constantly), and it feels like no one on the pod is truly being a good host/MC that can stop and say "but we should return to that previous topic/story we didn't finish". The show often feels too ADHD, too no-short-term memory for anyone to have the presence of mind to say "OK, but finish the story you started", and instead the vibe is "what were we talking about? *everyone shrugs*". I like Fear&, but its energy and chaos are both its strength and its weakness. They probably wouldn't steamroll over each other's stories/topics so much if they pre-planned like a Google Doc rough outline of what they all want to talk about that week, but it seems like they don't often plan/share that ahead of time.

Jose Marin

This season was actually mild compared to the first few

Jose Marin

It’s wild how our experiences shape how we view shows. I feel like I watched a completely diff show. Clay showed the most growth and throughout the show he tells ad he has a lot to work on himself. Even at the wedding he wanted to keep dating her as he worked on himself. Jeramy total piece of work. Laura was super aggro and a total mean girl. She would make fun of other cast mates. Chelsea was highly highly insecure. All throughout the show she’s constantly asking “what’s wrong what’s wrong why don’t you love me why don’t you say it” etc etc that final fight he had left for 90 mins total to celebrate his friends bday and she freaked out and said she didn’t want a guy who parties all night. Only funny part about Johnny and Amy was how little he knew about birth control 😂

Jose Marin

Oh yea also Chelsea was the one who asked if jimmy he ever got told he looked like a celeb

Jose Marin

Yea it’s also 4 ppl vs just a back and forth between two. Hasan in specific is like dug, squirrel, every time something hits his brain lol will has tried creating some sort structure but hasn’t really stuck

Ridorana12

idk why but hearing "i crossed up them bitches" made me lol <3

LeahGia

It’s kinda insane to make it sound like she’s just scrolling for fun or messaging people because it’s what she’d rather be doing… she has a ton going on and her phone is literally a part of her obligations and job. She’s been pretty transparent about that. You might not like it as a viewer, but spinning her to be some kind of awful addicted iPad kid is just a completely unforgiving and false reimagining of reality.

Killer Kupid :3

My favourite way to consume reality tv, a qt recap!

Pnwoah

Honestly the yard is great at not cutting each other off and coming back to the story, and they are 4 people too :)

Mitch Mitcherson

Like Maya, I don’t remember people often. People will say we spent a day together doing something fun or whatever so I just come off like a snob probably. Makes me sad because I can’t control it.

AidanMark8

I just watched the pod and then the patreon episode and Kate Middleton just came out saying she has cancer like 30 mins ago

PLL

The fact that Maya can't find this dude anywhere is both hilarious and terrifying. I think she should just go for it and ask him where they've met since she's probably not going to meet him again 🤷‍♀️

BS

that's tough. when conspiracy theories go wrong. Nothing nefarious just a mom wanting time to break a cancer diagnosis to her young kids.

TwilitStripes

For some reason this episode made me remember that my ex was a big QT fanboy before I started watching her events and wine about it. He was extremely mean and miserable but this made me remember the time he was telling me how Lud is the golden boy of streaming BUT QT MADE HIM QT IS THE GOAT QT IS OUR QUEEN

Taylor

Yeah I'm glad they saved it for the bonus, like what are the chances

Jaded Kills

I think Reddit would be better like once a month as an extra chunk at the end after the hour or whatever. I don’t love the Reddit segments so personally I don’t love when I see the runtime is an hour and I’m so excited but the last 25 min is Reddit.

PatrickFRM

I definitely prefer no Reddit but once a month would be better and it can then be filtered by the most upvoted. Great Episode :)

Tanja

Yeah, Fear& if we're honest is a wiiild ride of ADHD, Hypomania and Narcissism. I love all 3 of them but they are what they are, QT gotta either cut them off after they cut her off or resort to just being there without bringing any topics to the table.

Erika

Reddit segment is interesting, but it's just post dependent :/

spilt milk

OMG Maya suddenly reading Bloodborne lore when googling ludwig is so fucking funny

Rizzy_REDD

There’s a guy I knew in college who would respond to my Facebook posts for years and ask how I was doing like 1x/year. I remember him from college but no idea how we met lol he stopped messaging me after he saw I was engaged lol

Chatters_Mom

Legitimate question, how do you get on the discord?
