Gosh I miss Code Monkeys from G4. Also y’all can like Billie. I think she sucks but. We all like what we like! lol I also don’t think she shaded Taylor. I think they did Billie dirty. That’s not cool.. Always on Taylor’s team!! lol

maya, my friends think I’m crazy now because I pick up bugs and I tell them not to kill them and I try to protect them. I love it but also my friends once again think I’m crazy. i love y’all

Grace

my take on the drama is I think people need to stop taking a few sentences as a whole conversation, or somebody's fully formed opinion. Answers in an interview, on a podcast, on a stream etc are just whatever comes to mind at the time and unless you have a full on convo with someone, or they've literally planned out what they're gonna say and spent time with it, you will never get a full picture. and that's okay!! people don't need to give every nuance every time they speak, the issue is more that people on the internet take it as if you HAVE said all your thoughts. idk this comment is getting kinda long but i'm just a little sick of people jumping to conclusions and assuming the worst of people based on a handful of words. It makes it feel very hard to like.. move in any online space when you can literally say "I like the smell of rain" and people will be like "DON'T YOU KNOW RAIN CAUSES FLOODS AND MAYBE THE SMELL OF RAIN IS TRAUMATIC TO THOSE AFFECTED BY FLOODS" lmao

I have nothing against Billie, her music just really isn't for me. Taylor slays though.

Joey

Id like to thank Maya for bringing sanity to the North West topic. Online people are insane.

whothoughtwhy

video series of qt taking active steps to overcome aerophobia? unhealthy alternative; bar of xanax?

beechings (Abbie)

wahoo pod time, im having a rough time atm and honestly this totally distracted me for the whole hour

Sasha

Just at the start here but my family makes fun of me for loving lettuce to the extent I do (I like all salad but still)

Mary

There is a pie place in Frederickbergs that is the best! You have to go early tho cuz they only make enough pies for that day and run out quick!

twibay

Lol the pro cheating joke continues as they support Olivia Munn and John Mulaney

Muffinman98

Name Your Price also aired on G4

twibay

Also for this era other than the four diff vinyl versions I think the other diff album version have been digital so maybe the criticism has impacted Taylor but I think it’s still so hypocritical coming from Billie esp with her new album version loll

Paula Mejia

I'm excited to read John Mulaney's ex wife's, Anna Marie Tendler's memoir. I'm not sure John cheated, I think he started dating Munn post separation but pre divorce and she thought they would still maybe try to work it out 🤷🏻‍♀️ kinda shitty but not not explicitly unethical like cheating??

ashyc

I stopped buying concert tickets a few years ago because I didn’t want to pay $300+ for nose bleed seats at a concert that’s less than 2 hours long! I got eras tour tickets because of the length of the show

Cynthia Soly

also love salad and lettuce, salad lovers rise!

Haley Welch

I would just like to say, I am Switzerland, I side with no one in the world war and think we should all grow up and get along. Thank you for listening to my Ted talk 😊

Josh Trierweiler

You should watch The Departed. It's got Matt, Leo, and Mark in it.

Michael Kiwan

I totally forgot this is a wine podcast as well lol

FullPlaid

🤣 i almost did a spit take from that sign off lol

MICHY!!!!!

this dating app would be a lot cooler if it wasnt marketed as a dating app tbh, if it was just being able to talk to randos for other peoples entertainment i would be more into that

Georgette Rosin

yall should watch the documentary about "is anyone up? from hunter moore. guy is a total POS and didnt care about the outcome of people being on the site. purposely posted people's info, facebooks, etc. whole thing was WILD. its on netflix. it's called "the most hated man on the internet" i think

Couran

With North West I think the majority of the takes are about the parenting choice, the poor kid is just collatoral damage. Doesn't make it better but we should 100% be roasting Kim over the insane decision to push her kid into this process and going so hard on the nepotism. There are amazing child actors, it's not a big deal but North West is just not one of them so we should also be dragging Kim for putting her kid in the position to fail that hard.

Guerrillakilla

The Yik Yak app shout out is so funny to me, what a short lived thing that only college students of that era would even really know about

Jesse

North West exists QT- I hate the way that you walk, the way that you talk, i hate the way that you dress

anski

about the billie eyeball stuff, not having any context outside of the pod - if you call out an industry-wide problem but you’re actively contributing to it, that is hypocritical. I mean making them out of recycled vinyls is great but you’re a huge artist, you have enough influence that surely you could take a bigger step if you wanted to. it just rings hollow ig

yeehaw

The Billie Eilish thing is missing so much context... She was answering fan questions about her set list and if she was going to add the entire album to it and she said no because it’ll be way too long. She also goes on to compliment Taylor and Beyoncé for putting on the shows they do.

yeehaw

The difference is they’re just diff color variations, meaning you can just buy one. Taylor has bonus tracks on each, so if you want each bonus track you have to buy multiple. (When ppl were pre-ordering they didn’t know the bonus songs would be streamable bc no one knew about the double album)

Chris

Taylor got a lot of shit for doing variants of folklore, Midnights, and Speak Now TV that were just different colors

Chris

there was also a knockoff app for high schoolers called After School that got popular at the same time. started SO MUCH drama at my school

Chris

i wanted to watch QT’s dating app stream but wasn’t able to. hearing what it actually was made my jaw drop

Taylor

Is Maya saying Billie Eyelash unironically?

Austin

Laughed when Maya said lettuce tastes like dirty water. I’m an incredibly picky eater to begin with but my friends always give me weird looks when I say lettuce tastes like crunchy dishwater

Suli

I saw a tiktok a mother made about the north west stuff apparently they just walked in the last day and gave her the spot when other kids had already gone through all the rounds of auditions so it really wasn’t fair

Suli

College aged human here yikyak still gets used and the drama is still there lol

Guerrillakilla

Wow I didn't realize they had made a comeback, the Wikipedia says they relaunched in 2021

Daidreemer

I love how maya says billie eyelash

Sasha__qt

People are more interested in romantic drama so it’s understandable

Kamile

I dont think North needed to be shit on but also I went to the show at the hollywood bowl and paid good money to see it. So to have an untalented person in one of the roles also felt like I wasnt getting my moneys worth :/
