This week, Maya and QT call in from their honeymoon, deep in the snowy mountains of Utah, to discuss their worst ex-boyfriends, the times they were the most drunk, and some recent drama involving Twitch.

I will not stand for the tequila SLANDER

Alphonse Shehata

Tequila makes me happy…. So I hate it!!!!😂😂😂😂😂

Hannah

If you want to use Twitter less, you could pull a Hasan and only use Twitter on the puter

mormonteeth

the dude who made that stupid qrt is a known misogynist as well. connoreatspants had brought up a deleted yt video of his where he talks about how he "is never talking to women again" and is just a 15 minute incel level rant about how he hates women. so tldr fork found in kitchen lmao.

Avery Schrader

someone might've said this already but the beer before liquor never sicker is because when your drunk its easy to drink more and shots are small volume where if you start liquor and move to beer the size of the drink will force you to pace at least a little bit bc you will drink it slower than a shot

Jason

I deleted my X so I'll have to say it here, I'm sorry.

Jonathan Day

I've always thought it was to give your body more time to process the hard liquor because you'll be drinking it earlier in the night but that also makes sense

Babafunlayo Oke

About Ders and Maya: DESERVED!!!!! Kitty is innocent!!!!

Sogybritches

Almost always audio only because I listen while I work, had to come watch Ders shenanigans, best co-host, requesting appearance every episode now.

With_Thomas

When people talk about Twitter and how it sucks, I never understand WHY people are still on it. Especially with Elon running it

Marc !

the Pokimane thing is definitely dexerto's fault, they put "the streaming space is more male dominated", an actual quote, right next to a mention of two of the biggest, most loved streamers...so they frame it as though she's against those guys and all these hateful children appeared. " 'The streaming landscape, let’s say seven years ago, very male-dominated. It was the most ‘even’ during [2020], and since then, it’s gone back to being more male-dominated.' Whether this is because of Kai and Speed’s popularity, or that they have just benefitted from the change, Pokimane didn’t say." Also it's funny for that incel tweet guy to say women "abuse the hot tub meta." So is it overpowered or not? if women are abusing some easy tactic, why aren't they more popular than a bunch of dudes playing games? dumb!

I'm a Utahn native and I missed the two streams cause I work in taxes and I'm swamped rn- but I hope you all are enjoying your time here!! So happy to have an in person episode today 🙂‍↕️🫶 My favorite bar in Utah is called 1750, it's in Springville and somewhat rural but it's the closest bar to me that doesn't suck 😭

Cindy A

Same! I keep hoping to see streamers start posting on Bluesky 🦋

Funky Raven

I am from the UK and I never hear any of the females I know talking about how scary men are and how they are in such fear of being kidnapped by them or sex trafficked at all but I hear a lot of females from America online talking about it. Is America really that bad with it or is it more like scary stories adults tell children like the boogey man, just for adults? Genuine question as America sounds like one of the worst places to be (including other factors) and yet Americans always seem to be so prideful of the country saying it is the best in the world. I don't get it.

Tatatori

can one schedule an uber for later time and set alarms on your phone to remind you of time while out drinking?

Adrian

i LOVE stella rosa!!! it does just taste like juice its awesome. my favorite is the blueberry one.

QT's random fears extending into qanon levels of misinformation is concerning. Batteries don't give off any kind of harmful radiation. On girls getting followed though, i occasionally ride motorcycles (though not so much lately) and i have thick long hair that sticks out from under my helmet. The amount of times i got followed by random dudes in cars cannot be counted on one hand. And i mean me taking nonsensical turns and everything and them still being behind me. It's fun when they finally pull up next to me at the lights, i smile and wave, and they go "oh fuck it's a dude with a mustache". Maybe 1 in 5 can laugh about it or wave back but most look salty AF 🤣

Eli Bergsma

Those sex traficking awareness posters are in the men's bathrooms as well (or at least some kind of sex traficking awareness poster)

mondo

Part of it is misinfo from mainstream media, a fearful public is one that can be more easily controlled. That being said, 1 in 4 women are the victime of SA (iirc). QT is a bit paranoid but there are risks and better safe than sorry

mondo

I was there first, he's the one who should leave. Also, a lot of people refuse to switch so I have to stay if I want their updates

500pivek

It's funny how i usually observe people's eye contact so i know how to do it as a normal person but I can't learn from you guys

Danny

FWIW, speaking as a computer engineer who took quite a few courses in electromagnetism, there's 0 evidence that batteries or electronics in general increase the risk of cancer. The only somewhat related study that did show adverse effects was reduced sperm counts from men leaving a laptop on their lap, which increased the temperature down there - but did not increase the risk of cancer.

XL Macro

Yep. You can schedule Ubers in advance. I use this for when I have flights hella early in the morning. I assume it could work similarly for planning an uber for like 11:30PM from a bar to your house.

Brad

Came here to say this! If I’m already a few beers in, I am absolutely going to consume more shots than I would “normally” - leading to a worse hangover

Dani- Lee

As someone whose liquor of choice is tequila and chose shots over beer for every beer-pong game I've ever played 6 does not in fact kill

astro

if one of those "if you need help, rip one off" posters don't have any ripped yet, i'll sometimes take one so people don't feel weird about taking the first one

Alanna M

Lmaooo I wish I could witness the moment they realise 😂

Ayjayy

Calling women "females" and in the same sentence calling men "men" instead of males is really weird and serves to dehumanize or simply other women.
