Girl QT your hair looks so cute I love the new color, also you both look beautiful as always!! It pains me to see a woman as pretty as QT say she’s not :(

Mike

Pfftttt Lacy?

Sophia

That dream is 1000x worse than poop gate

Aliyah

QT: drop a hair routine pls and thank you

emmy ★彡

didn’t think an episode with this title would start so silly goofy but I’m here for it

Aliyah

To add about maya saying there’s some sort of guilt about not talking about her stalker experiences sooner; the only reason Rae and Cinna did so was because it was already very public (not by choice) so the opportunity was already there. So it makes absolute sense why it’s taken so long to share. Big respect <3

sedael

> talking about cheating in dreams > "Penetrate my thoughts" sure QT

To be fair, the man did assault (in legal terms, threaten to the point of the victim being scared of injury or death) them. Which is a crime. But so is SA and the police do nothing about that either 🤷🏼‍♀️

Did not know anything about Steak before last podcast. I’ve watched him a few times since and I really enjoyed it! It’s nice to get people who aren’t into the same spheres as yall to come on sometimes! Keeps it spicy!

Kayleigh Higgins

Before you started I already thought QT looks good today!

Ellen B Smellen

The stalker stuff is so scary and I'm so sorry you guys have gone through that. Im glad you guys are safe now.

Severance used to be this lowkey show that I didn't know a single person that watched it but me. Now I can't consume any media without someone talking about their innie. What a time!

Deanna

Maya as a normal woman who had a stalker and also had to beg cops to take my report and do anything. . It was like 3 or 4 years of my life and nothing helped. I don't think security would have done a ton to make me feel safer. It's traumatic regardless.

Tatatori

ALLEGEDLY the suspects name is Russel.

Mikey

Does anyone know which patreon episode Maya talked about this stalker. It was last year I'm pretty sure.

Omar

This stalker is no longer protected by freedom of speech laws when he is inciting violence against someone. The fact that the cops don’t want to do something is a California problem. I live in California, and just to speak to an officer on the phone, you’re put on hold.

Brad

Why is Brad always the random name chosen for bad guys lol :(

pinkquartz

thank you both for sharing your stories and i'm so sorry you had to go through that. just like you said it's scary already to be an everyday woman, seeing what y'all in the spotlight have to deal with is terrifying

Paige

As a "normal" woman it's really hard. I had one show up to my house regularly after being told not to sooo many times, run out in front of my car, leave "gifts" at my doorstep... just to be told by police he was a fully documented schizophrenic person who was off his meds, had recently attacked his mother, but to the cop he "seemed harmless". The worst part is I was only able to see relief when he had been arrested for SA of a minor. They will never do ANYTHING until its too late. Bonus: I'm being told he may be released if he is deemed unable to stand trial! My only options are to get a gun and have 911 on speed dial.

Paige

Also I'm so glad this is being talked about more! It's a terrifying and all too common reality for so many women no matter if you have a following or not

Miki

So I am no public figure or streamer but I was in one jubilee video where I allowed them to tag my ig in the description. I didn’t realize that I was receiving DMs for months from a random guy that had found me from that and replied to every story I posted in a similar way to how maya was describing. He had found my fathers business and even set up an appointment there (he did not live in my area but was “conveniently visiting”). I blocked him right after I found out and didn’t hear from him for months until he found my fb. And then months after that he showed up to my dads work and dropped off a letter essentially asking my dad to give me to him. It’s been like 2 years now that I haven’t heard from him but i still get worried. And again I’m just a normal person, it just takes getting unlucky with a delusional person. Don’t put your full name on a public social media account yall.😭

That Maya story was horrifying and the other women’s comments here about their own situations is terrible. I thought it happened but I was so ignorant as a man as to how common it is. It truly is mental torture.

jaspersjourney

<3 <3 <3 sending love and hugs. im so sorry for what you've had to go through

lin

Maya this was definitely not worse than poop gate

Melanie Stewart

Maya’s story was literally in Texas, as one clear example.

BS

I'm so naive that when Maya said after 3 months in the ward she got an email I thought it was going to be the guy apologizing...

ghostwritersrus

My husband and I definitely talk about our dreams no matter what happened 🫡 it's our morning news

girluv55 .

When they mentioned that stalkers happen to even really new/small female streamers it reminded me that Jodi talked about when she was new to streaming a guy took a picture of the outside of her house and sent her her private info threatening her to stop streaming. It’s really scary just being a women

Garlandswell

The beginning of this episode was so funny and qt i appreciate ur upfront and honest approach with ur fidelity in ur dreamscape

sleepybear

Maya your vulnerability with sharing such a traumatic experience is inspiring and i really do think it will help others in similar situations to not feel so alone. And open people’s eyes to the everyday struggles we have as women. That was hard to hear but I’m just glad you’re safe from this man now

Redcoat

There really has to be a change in policing stalking. Maya's story is particularly scary in the sense that the guy did end up killing himself. He went to that length towards himself....There is being suicidal without harming anyone else, but at the point they do something like this guy did, you cannot rely on them not to harm other people as well. Every streamer in the US should own a gun and should go to the range often and should practice readying their weapon to the point that it is muscle memory.

soloPFL

Twitch TOS is not the Law. Twitch is a private Company. I doubt that the current admin of the US would do anything because sadly like QT said for US standards it's free speech in the current US interpretation of it. Here (Germany) the threat of a crime alone can be punishable by up to 2 years in prison. (StGB §241) That said enforcement is a whole different question...

wolf

joke's on you, i was gonna comment on how gorgeous qt looked BEFORE maya said anything! your hair is framing your face beautifully, and it works SUPER well with the off-shoulder top

wolf

okay listen the weird shit you dream about should NOT be taken literally, but i will say goin public with that business is a crazy messy idea. sometimes you're going to have dreams about being with someone and you wake up like "HUH?????" and that does NOT mean you have some hidden passionate desire, but people are 1000% going to try to make that connection and build drama off it and cinna babe you NEVER talk about having a crush on your friend's man, you keep that shit on lockdown girl oh my lord

Davidrthe2nd

I know women have it 10x worse but. Shit even as a dude I had a girl stalk me for like 3 months. Show up to my work my neighborhood/ house, places I frequent. Shit was scary. Constantly texting and calling from random numbers. Escalated to making false police reports against me and also tried to get a restraining order against me because she knew I’d have to go to court see her and contest it. Luckily I had hella evidence so the judge during threw her request out, yelled at her, and advised me to start the process of getting a restraining order against her (she stormed out by this time) but he said it would have to start from the beginning and possibly have to go thru court again. Luckily at that point it stopped cause there was a whole room of people listening to me bring receipts and I think she got embarrassed beyond the point where she realized how in the wrong she was. Idk but you just have this feeling at anytime it could get dangerous with a stalker. And for like a year I was looking over my shoulder everywhere I went. I can’t imagine YEARS of that person popping up wherever I am and my job being to stream live where I am.
