Furry kids in middle school is just weird kids with a little too much time on the internet. It’s not something new, I’m 24 now n at middle school age, I would wear those hats that have like an animal head and also have like paw glove things attached to them. When I was even younger I would try drink milk from a bowl like a cat just because I was weird. alternatively QT kinda comes across online at least as someone who does have their shit together as a high-functioning productive person while dealing with her own shit sometimes openly which makes her seem maybe less likely to judge or more likely to have good advice/help. then if she’s proven she doesn’t spread shit (beyond Maya at least) in other instances, I can see why people would classify her as good to vent to in the streaming sphere.

it seems like her sister might consume from conservative media at the least which isn’t exactly surprising (she’s assumedly a strict mormon living in a red state), but I think QT has also said before that she has a trans step-sibling who her mormon dad actually tries his best to avoid dead naming so that's a positive with family who may lean more right related to the topic.

I just wanted to say that in this economy, I just turned 27 and I’m living with my parents, and so is my 24 year old brother. We are both college grads with degrees, we both pay all our bills (including student loans) and simply cannot afford rent. I have a friend, who is also 27, who just moved in with her parents because every year her rent has gone up, but of course her income hasn’t. I’m sharing this because even tho it’s probably my biggest insecurity to tell people, I wanted to give context about just how hard it is for a lot of people right now, cuz it really sucks to not be able to afford housing and also be labeled as a potential red or yellow flag🥲

I view the gaming question as a "Would you date someone who you're more or less compatible with." It's a hobby just like crafting or liking movies. I have so I would prefer to date someone who also games because play games during most of my free time. I would never date a guy who didn't do the same cause that just makes us incompatible, The same way I wouldn't date a guy who said he hated movies or Disney. I don't think anyone should date someone who has a disdain for a major hobby of theirs cause that's just torture truly.

Same turning 30 this year and as much as I’d love to move out. It’s hard to do so without a roommate or getting a better paying job. As I barely meet the income for cost of living in my city. Also with South Asian families it not a common things, multi-generational households are the norm.
