Respectfully QT is wrong about NDAs (I write them a lot at my job) they’re rarely focused on just personal information. They can’t cover anything illegal but just being a shitty boss is sadly not a crime. If you’re sexually harassed, that’s not covered, if they make you work 100 hours a week for minimum wage unfortunately it is. Please be extremely careful with this, getting sued will cost you a lot of money even if you win.

Only by comparison to the rest of the US, ultimately if you're talking about your job whilst under NDA or other confidential terms and the topic isn't either illegality or public info you're likely to find yourself in trouble. Always consult an attorney before assuming something isn't covered. Plus if you're in the kind of situation QT is talking about, you should be talking to an attorney about your options anyway!

I've chosen to recontextualize QT's story about the girl who wanted to sleep with Ludwig: QT is a superhero, and Blaire is her secret identity that she thinks no one knows about, but the cunning *Stacy* knows QT is really Bruce Wayne, I mean Blaire. It is Stacy's life mission to take everything from Superman, I mean QT. Real talk tho, Rae is right to point out that could be a stalker. That's a lot of coincidences with the same person.

this is true. most non-disparagement parts of hollywood ndas cannot really be enforced because of labor protections (i.e. you definitely can speak about your treatment at work or your boss regardless of what an nda says and regardless of the perceived legality of the behavior). there are cases on the books establishing this. unfortunately there are other ways they punish people for speaking out so they dont need to ever test this

As with QT's point this isn't wholesale wrong or anything but it's not really accurate either. I don't blame anyone for not getting the distinctions here, confidentiality terms are more complicated than people tend to realize. Illegality doesn't mean a crime, it's broader, it captures a lot of regulatory and civil wrongs. So sexual harrassment is always something you can speak out about (in California), breaking safety regulations, forcing people to do pretty much anything against their will etc. Simply being a shitty boss however, isn't illegal and a correctly drafted confidenitality clause or NDA would be enforcable if you talked about elements of your job or tasks you've completed that would be considered unpleasant, especially if they can be at all considered something that's genuinely part of your job. Again, consult with an attorney first. Discussing whether you have a case and what your options for moving forward would be is always going to be free (a lawyer trying to charge you for a client intro meeting is scamming you, run away).

Big racing fan here - modern formula cars are extremely safe. These cars can flip multiple times, land upside down, and the driver will walk out completely unscathed. Especially at F4 speeds, it should be a very very safe race.
