The male pattern baldness gene is on the X chromosome but is a recessive trait. Women have to get a copy of the gene on both their X chromosomes to have it expressed. It happens but is rare. Men only have one copy of the X chromosome so it’s just more common to get it. It’s the same thing with red green color blindness.

just wanna share my thoughts on the “fat” thing. I think the problem isn’t of “fat” as a joke between friends, it’s more about using specific numbers when talking about it. i used to have an eating disorder and have had problems with my body. I’ve since been okay and the “fat” jokes don’t bother me, but when it’s like “nobody is above 150 here” i look at that as somebody over 150 and am hurt. eating disorders are competitive and the minute numbers are brought into it that’s when it’s more risky than just joking. idk it’s not a big deal but
