Rae needs to look up the blood test called Galleri. It’s somewhat new (few years) but it detects cancer shedding cells for over 50+ types of cancer. If one type is dectetced it can tell you what type and where it most likely is located, then you do further testing to see & confirm.

I’m a nurse at a cancer institute. You should look into genetic counseling. Significant family history of cancer can potentially indicate a genetic component, and genetic counselors help screen you for genes that are associated with increased risk of cancer. They will often make custom suggestions for regular monitoring depending on your findings. It is usually a simple blood draw.

Interesting…would be cool if it works, though a quick Google search pulled up an article from NIH stating that a clinical trial using this test run by the NHS has been suspended, potentially d/t poor clinical outcomes. We’ll see I guess!

Yeah I mean the hospital I work for will place orders for them. They’ve had very positive results. When one of the cancer shedding cells is detected then they do other (but separate testing that a regular hospital and/or clinic would do) to confirm if there is actually possibly cancer starting to form & or is already there

I'm so confused when influencers talk about moving to another large city like that will solve their issues. It seems like their issues are just inherent with their job. Also with how many Asians are in the space and how many Canadians there are you think there would be a bigger push to move close to a large Canadian city since Asians are a large chunk of the population unlike in America. They're already paying LA taxes. Canadian taxes aren't really higher.

Rae was so right about some of these deeper topics being very relatable - I personally just recently had a breakdown for similar reasons, I moved to Florida for my boyfriend and I fucking hate it here. The weather, the politics, not being able to find friends, the lack of young people. It weighs heavy on me every day. We are planning to move in the next few years, but still difficult in the mean time. Really appreciate when you ladies are vulnerable and discussing these topics!

Wanted to let Rae know that I have the same thing as far as getting weirdly dizzy and feeling like I'm going to black out on occasion and then it never actually happens. My doctor and I have never figured out what causes it. If you figure out, please let me know.
