I think I get what Rae meant, because QT is good at making new acquaintainces with positive outcomes and futures - because she's Ms. TSA and mother Teresa. But friend by definition where can you rely on em in your most vulnerable state? - I know where QT stands on it. But in the end, I think Rae's right about interpretation of first question lol

Yeah not to be parasocial, but I know QT always talks about struggling to keep friends and it really seemed like they just immediately clicked and got along so well. But Vanilla's TikTok audience can be sooo crazy and intense. It's sad to see that situation just kinda split them up 🙁

QT is very confused about what a friend is. There's a huge range of what friendship entails. If you genuinely enjoy someone's company when you're around them and they enjoy yours, you're friends. Doesn't matter if you wouldn't call them late at night or when you popped a tire on the side of the road lol.

QTs definition of friends is insane. In school everyone knows your last name becuase it posted everywhere, they werent all my friends. All my friends I dont call anytime im sad but they are still friends they just aren't my closest friends. Most people don't make a new best friend every year but most people don't answer full disagree on this test. Some people don't meet or talk to anyone new on a recurring basis each year. I understand that its hard as a creator to trust people want you for you or for clout but look at her Friendsgiving, to say most of those people are not friends is wild given it was off stream.

Could you guys do main episodes as stacked guest episodes, and then the bonus patreon are current discord calls? The best of both worlds...I always skip the stacked guest episodes since they're not talking about current events, but some people don't like the calls. I personally think the calls are better since we get more current topics and the stacked guest episodes are usually shorter and about the same topics over and over again, spread out over 5 weeks. But doing a combo seems like a good compromise for the audience, and then you only bulk record for half the amount of time, and get fresh topics for the bonus eps

Yeah its like she considers close friends to be her only friends. Friends are anybody you are familiar with and comfortable with. They don't have to be deeply involved in your life or extremely trusted to be a surface level friend

I don't think Vanilla stopped talking to QT solely because of her TikTok audience. Reversing the roles, would QT continue to get close to someone who put her in an uncomfortable situation, and caused her unwanted controversy? Obviously we don't know the answer to that, but Vanilla probably didn't feel comfortable continuing to get close, and we don't know how the convo went behind the scenes. Also QT tends to want to make content with people gaining popularity outside of her regular audience, and move on to the next person. She also says constantly she doesn't have friends, and for those who do consider her a friend, that would hurt. But again no one knows what happened 1-on-1 after that event. Love them both though

This isn't directed at qt but the conversation in general since it's everywhere. People saying I know we don't talk about other people's bodies. But these people are too skinny is such fake bullshit. Imagine the conversation changed from Ariana to lizzo and how unhealthy that is and how it sets a bad standard for little girls. There isn't and has never been heroin chic. Americans who are considered underweight have always sat around 1%. This isn't some large issue that needs to be discussed this much

I feel like the 16personalities website gives a great explanation of INFJ (Introverted, Intuitive, Feeling, and Judging) judging just means you're more comfortable when you have a plan and backup plans vs going along with whatever happens.

I think when you meet a lot of people frequently like in the streaming space, it might feel like you should be making a ton of friends but that's not realistic and in a span of a year for QT to have made one good close friend is actually huge! Cause building levels of relationship, requires time and cultivating experiences together, maintenance and energy. It's just not realistic to do that with every single person you meet, even the people you take a liking to. There's an interesting theory called Dunbar's number about a cognitive limit on the number and layers of relationships we have with people and how even the very outer layers of our circles are a social pillar in our lives.

When I was in high school I was an ENFP, then like 5 years later I did it again and I turned into an INFP and I was "55% introverted". Now like another 5-6 years later I took ot again and I am now an INFJ with "78% introverted". Funny how as I get older I get more and more introverted lol

I wasn't sure if it was Vanilla but it very sad to see someone have so little moral courage. I think Vanilla's audience seems really young & probably were triggered by what QT said bc of their personal life situations but I don't feel cutting people out of your life bc you disagree with them is not a good strategy for changing minds & is correlated with increased political violence. We live in a very scary world right now & I can't believe QT's vanilla (ba dum tiss) take caused such a stir.
