Sorry devils advocate but I think the bride story was just an uncomfortable way to find out your relationship with this person was not the same as their current relationships with other people. The fact that this person is not in the same state was probably a big tell. You can’t expect a persons life to be completely put on hold full stop because you’re not around… before I get crucified I will say this person should have been more forthcoming from the jump about her role in the callers wedding and probably should not have lied about her wedding situation. Sorry this is also one side of the story and I think it’s boiled down to you guys not having a mutual friendship that the caller thought they had and the other party not knowing how to tell the caller that without blowing the friendship as a whole up. Also unpopular opinion but you cannot judge an engagement being too fast when your relationship is 10 years before a wedding day. If the people in the relationship have had their talk and came to an understanding they both plan to be life partners no one outside of that relationship has the right to judge that. The TikTok video is wild if that was the persons way to tell her she was plus sized but I doubt she intentionally sent that maliciously. That might be a stretch.
