Yeah my maternal granddad, grandma and aunt are all cremated and put under a tree in a park which has an area especially for that. It started with him and then we added them later ofc but we chose that tree bc he liked it since it grows berries that make the birds 'drunk' lol (he was a bird enthusiast and Irish so big whiskey lover). As you mentioned, he wanted his body to be donated to science but at the time they were full/didn't need any more bodies.

I am a wedding photographer and I can confirm that there are SO many photos that don't usually get sent in the previews to build excitement for the final gallery. I usually will only send 1 or 2 photos of the wedding party pics in the previews but the final gallery will have so many more.

I was on the fence about doing a first look. I wanted that "he sees you for the first time coming down the aisle" look but I also wanted a lot of pictures that I knew we wouldn't have time for after. We ended up doing a first look which I am happy about. We kicked everyone out and it was just us and the photographers. And it was nice to get a hug and calm my nerves a bit. Then we got a ton of pictures done and honestly, not even enough. We ran out of time and guests started coming early and seeing me etc. I still would have liked another hour or so for pics lol.
