Not sticking up for Hugh Hefner- but saying a lot of stuff he did was “nonconsensual” and then proceeding to ONLY give examples that WERE consensual. Really makes it seem like you’re saying the women weren’t responsible for their actions. Which is a sexist take, because if he was taking advantage of their bodies or whatever, then THEY were taking advantage of his fame and power.

qt mentioned the insane power dynamic between hefner and the women he exploited. this power dynamic would have made relationships with these women inherently coercive and therefore non-consensual. a quick google search and you can read about the ways that hefner used his power to manipulate women into having sex with him.
