It's wild that making a reference to a joke online is too far. God I better stop referencing jokes I hear on tv or in movies. Don't want the actors to think I'm thrying to be their friends. Conan O'Brien actual famous person has repeatedly said he loves when people reference things from his podcast to him on the street because it's a quick short hand to know they like his work. But saying it online is too far for nepobaby slime.

Itโ€™s weird if someone hears a joke between two strangers, goes to one of the strangers, repeats the joke back to them, and then calls it banter. Whether you tell them IRL or online, itโ€™s still weird.

I guess it's a good thing they aren't random strangers. They are known entertainers putting on a show. There's also a difference between a joke and banter. Banter is usually insulting, so yes don't go insult people you don't know. would you go up to a stranger and ask for a picture? would you go up to a stranger and say you love their work? No. You're a weirdo if you do that to a entertainer then!
