I actually liked your TharnType reaction so much (you may remember me, I commented the other day under the name Megan Bento on youtube about ppl's perceptions of Type and how unforgiving they are towards him) and really wanted to see your reactions to Anne since i've been a fan of her for about 20 years now (I grew up with the cartoon and the 1980s/90s movie series which i HIGHLY recommend the movies some day) however a lot of the episodes were blocked for me on youtube so here I am! I'm not done with the episode yet, but regarding a question you have towards Prissy's age. Prissy would be about 17 here meanwhile Anne is going on 15 (Gilbert is also about the same age as Prissy but is in the same 'grade' as Anne because he missed a lot of school while taking care of his father. They don't explain that in the tv series but its how it was in the movies/books). I would say kids about 13-18 are in Anne's class, they are all taught at the same time but also separately. Sounds difficult and confusing but that's how small town school were back then. And it wasn't unusual for someone Prissy's age to be betrothed and to get married, even if it was to a teacher. It's definitely strange, but times were different. And I didn't check youtube comments for the last episode but the words "gay" didn't exist. I'm not even sure that the word homosexual actually existed.
