I don't know if anyone has mentioned this so far, so I will. In some East Asian countries (Taiwan included, along with China, Japan and Korea), family names come before first names. Tang is the family name, not the first name. For example, Tang Guodong's name is Guodong, and Chen Wenhao's name is Wenhao, not Chen. Tang Yi's name is Yi, and he adopted the family name of Tang. It''s common to address people by their family name and then their first name, instead of just their first name, although it varies. Shao Fei's full name is Meng Shao Fei, but he is mostly referred to as Shao Fei. And then there are Western names, such as Jack in this series, which are more straightforward.
