If you want to know how the game works I can help you understand them or find them online however it has been updated so much since then also the rules and mechanics are not exactly the same in real life most likely to make the duels more dramatic in the show

Dunno if this has been answered for you already in one of the other episodes, but the reason Kaiba didn’t keep the fourth Blue Eyes White Dragon is simple—you’re only allowed a maximum of three copies of any particular card in your deck for an official duel. Kaiba in this episode isn’t sentimental enough about the card to want to own it just to own it; if he can’t use it to win duels it has no value to him.
