Hi Cinders!

Thank you all again for all the uplifting comments on my last post. I really appreciate them all!  

I have more designs coming out next week, but wanted to get these cute little spiders to you for the weekend!  - Told you I was making a Tiny Spider Collection! ;) I love the Orchid Spider, but am especially excited for the little one with the Strawberry butt! Hope you all enjoy them!

All my designs are print-in-place and require no supports. All you need is a clean bed and you're off!

Print Settings:  .2 Layer height, 15% infill, gyroid infill, no brim, and no supports. (If there are smaller parts of your print that have a hard time staying stuck to the plate, please try a brim around those parts)

These little spiders have been such a big hit at our shows!! We gave them away by the hundreds during October and people were calling their sports teams to come grab one! You can do so in the slicer! Keychain holes are a blanket approved mod and a handy skill to have!

any one else have issues with the strawberry spider one only being set with 3 colures in the 3mf file? the file i have the legs and main body are one colour, the eyes and seeds in the strawberry are another colour and the strawberry tail part is another colour or will i have to select and edit ti to get the colures right like the image?

Ignore me. I've not done any multicolour prints yet. I just opened the MMF and sliced it. That was easier than I thought :)

I love the strawberry spider. but question, why is the file not colored like the one in the post?

Because as the post states the photos were done by Brooke, who adjusted the paint job!

I seen that. But i assumed the files had the colors coordinated like the picture and its not.

Yes it was frustrating to me too. Most would think the files are colored as the examples pics are in the post. But its not. I spent almost 2 hours repainting it.

Its pretty easy to paint it yourself in Bambu Studio. pre-painted files are a bonus when added. If you need help figuring out how to paint the file in Bambu Studio, myself and/or many others would be willing to help

Yeah that happens sometimes, I try to not let that happen but Brooke took those super cute photos so we decided to use them. But I hear you! I'll make sure going forward there is matching pictures

ok am i dumb or how do i print the orchid in 2 colors? its showing 3 colors in bambu. Im a noob sorry!

Sometimes it'll show x amount of colors but only print whats colored. I did the orchid two color!

I am new to the multi-color printing. just purchased an IDX printer but none of the 3MF files show in colors and print as a single color. What do I need to do? Where can I find out how to print multiple colors? The web videos and articles I read say there needs to be separate files for each color them merge them after setting the colors. The 3MF files I import as all a single file.

Hey there! It sounds like you may be using Cura. Our 3mfs are not useable in Cura due to how Cura does multicolor. You will need to use Prusa, Bambu Studio, or Orca Slicer.

Thanks for the quick reply. I will look for a different slicer. Cura is what came with both printers.

I tried both Bambu and Orca and both give me an error: The 3mf is not from Bambu Lab, load geometry data only. The 3mf is not supported by OrcaSlicer, loading geometry data only. Obviously the multimaterial doesn't work in Cura. Love the models! Absolutely wonderful and amazing work. Now just to figure out the MM.

Hey there, instead of opening it as a 3mf start a new project and bring the 3mf in, it works best that way!

why are these not added to MMF? I was just looking to see if I missed any spiders, and they are not in there.

That's because they are exclusives, so they stay here on Patreon. The file is attached at the bottom, just above the comments. You might have to click into the actual post to see it though

Its weird and frustrating that its not consistent, the bunny pack is on MMF along with the alicorn and others, then things like Baby Dunestriker and spider packs are not

when I try to print the spider it has the body and stem the same color. how do I fix it?

Just repaint it as you need! Since its already painted its super easy to change the parts as you need
