Hi Cinders!!

Thank you all for being so patient this month! I know it's last minute for the last 2 designs but they are both Exclusives and will remain available to everyone who cannot download immediately! Jolly Roger paint job submitted by Salty

There are three sets of files I'm releasing in the post: The other layouts for the Adult Hollow Dragon (with Resin wings) and the Baby versions (both wingless and winged)! The baby has a different structure and includes feet, however their eyes are the same so you can mix and match Adult vs Baby for them to be whatever you would like!

The other EGGsclusive will be out asap as well (hopefully tomorrow)! We've been working really hard any I appreciate your understanding in these being delayed a bit! :)

They are held via friction, some filaments will do better then others.

Dominika A Campbell

I love the design! Is there a multi-color file for this one by chance? Like the one in the picture? Thank you!

Jazzy_Plz

That was just a filament change mid print!

Wayne Mason

Is there a adult version?

Allison Laera

I printed the baby dragon at 100% and the wings at 100%. Is there a trick to inserting the wings? Or, do I need to print them smaller?

cinderwing3d

Might just need to print them 1% smaller based on your tolerances yeah

Dana Fraedrich, Steampunk Fantasy Author

I know this is such an old post, but I just recently joined. I LOVE this spooky lil guy! I'd love to see a short version for the winged one as well one day.

Marina

I would love the short winged one as well!

Julia

So this might be a stupid question, but how do I get at least 2 colors on this hollow dragon

Julia

I seen that after I'd commented! Thank you! ❤️

Julia

Also has anyone had issues printing this? My bambu is giving me an error code while slicing that there is floating parts and recommends supports. But covers almost all of the dragon with supports. Will it be okay to print without supports?

Marina

No issues printing wothout support. Nu slicer also recommend supports but I've printed it without.

Grace

Is there a colored file? I downloaded it and it was all one color for all the files.

cinderwing3d

There is not, the picture was just a filament swap

Michelle

what layer did you do swap

Jamiesassypurple

when i try to download the hallow jolly roger colors zip it says media file not avab

Kimber

I am also unable to download the hallow jolly roger colors zip.

Jazzy P.

Seems Patreon is being weird again, I'll mess with it!

Josh S

I tried to download the jolly roger colors and it doesn't work

Alex PD

just a heads-up that I can't download the colored version either (Cinderwing3D Baby Hollow Dragon Jolly Roger Colors.zip). It throws a "media file not found" error when trying to fetch it. The standard STL files download fine, but this specific ZIP seems broken on Patreon's side.

Dova

The Cinderwing3D Baby Hollow Dragon Jolly Roger Colors says media file not found when trying to download

Dova

Awesome! Thank you ror the extremely quick response! I just figured I would leave comments of things I noticed as I downloaded the welcome bundle as a new Patron. Holy shit i love your work and your welcome beyond is insanely generous <3

Gypsy3D

omg i hope its the dragon egg you showed all the way back in april. that looked so amazing!

cinderwing3d

It is different, but I can easily add that in to the collection for next month! :)

Gypsy3D

Omg yess I am so excited!

Lisa Bergeron

For this model to be a "baby" do we go to 60% like the others?

Johnny Davila

thats the most unbaby dragon i have seen. i actually think it looks better the the original

SneakySmurf

Can we get away from the winged dragons and make dragons similar to the rose and crystal again? They are both clearly your best sellers and mine as well. These winged dragons full or baby are useless to sell at craft shows because they are too big and bulky on the display and to travel with. Beautiful designs but they aren't practical for me to try to sell. Not trying to be a downer but I've been waiting and waiting for another awesome dragon that is sturdy and non-breakable that I can travel with to craft shows. You did great with the Woodland, the Clover and those types. Keep it simple, it just works!

cinderwing3d

i completely get that. :) I do try to make "wingless" dragons of most models that have wings as well. For example the Hollow Dragon has a wingless option :)

cinderwing3d

really felt like it needed legs as part of this design, but yes because it lacks the eye as well, it can be used as an adult version :) I try to give many options

mikey roberts

Can't please everybody i guess but i just want to say the winged dragons are a massive hit for me at local fairs. The winged dragons are amazing, don't stop making them :D

Luke Beardall

I made all the babies for my daughter's 10th birthday to give away to the guests, printed in Amolen tricolor filaments and the Baby Winged Serpent was the one my daughter loved and chose for herself. All the little girls were happy though!

SirPrintsAlot3D

for those printing this in 60% for the "baby" size. I suggest printing the wings with either 99 walls or 100% infil. I broke two of the ball joints before i tried that lol. Looks so cute in the palm of my hand though. my daughter will love it

Kieran

Winged dragons are by far and away my best seller hands down

PrizmPrinting

Maybe wrong display? People get drawn most to the winged dragons at our craft shows, granted we put them front and center as they are more pricey. So to say not practical for "you" to sell shouldn't sway what our creator wants to make :) I do completely agree with the hard to travel and pack the winged ones though as we always have tips break :(

SneakySmurf

They take up a lot of room, they cost a lot of filament and they are hard to travel with. Sure, weve sold Crystal Wings and always have a few but the Hollow Dragons we don't even bring now because of previously mentioned. The straight dragons are just easier for about the same money we can ask for. They aren't as practical but not just for me. I have 8 shelves and two 8 foot tables full to the max with our stuff. We aren't just one little table like some.

Craft3d

Have you tried the void dragon? That guy looks like he would be popular. I am just printing them for the first time and haven't had any selling experience. But I plan to start.

LAYERED 3D PRINTING - UTAH

I have a lot of customers who only want the winged ones! I love that the Hollw & Crystal can be either

paulene schmedeke

tadlings....what size like to use to connect body n head?

Garrett

I'm having a lot of trouble getting the wings to stay posed. I see the locking mechanism for the first and last folds, but the middle one doesn't seem to have any similar ledge to rest it on so it just falls. Am I missing something, or are the photos just posed with aids like glue, tape, putty, etc? Thank you!
