Hi Cinders!!

Also included a BONUS .3MF File for this model! It is a pre-split progress file made for multicolored printers! I will NOT be able to included these with every future model but I am try to give these as Bonuses where I can! :)

Ooh is it going to have a keychain model for it?

cinderwing3d

Not at this point but that is a modification for this model that I allow if you would like to! :)

sNp

Ok thank you

Jason

I love this but is there any chance of getting the Crystal wyvern without the 2022 numbering?

April Goldman

Ohhh!! I am in love!! printing this now!

Pigeon Print Shop

Ooooo!!! Is it possible to get a keychain version or can I get permission to mod and put a hole for one?

Pigeon Print Shop

This size sells so well as a keychain. We sell the tiny wyvern keychains at our shop and they're a big hit.

Tiffany Gobkes

They're also a hit with my customers. I know we're allowed to do small edits like that ourselves so if you use something that can add a torus shape you can use that to cut out the loop yourself.

Pigeon Print Shop

Easy peazy as long is its OK, no problem. Cheers.

Trislau

The .3mf file doesnt seem have the digital painting done

Mawk

Awesome, thank you! I was wondering the same thing.

Tiffany Gobkes

Yup, there's an earlier comment she made saying it's cool. In general we're allowed to do small edits to make things hang and add magnet holes. I was just doing it and realized that the other model wasn't done with a torus like I'm used to doing (likely because it's at the tip of a narrow snout anyways) so a cylinder works great. Looks like they used about 3.7mmx3.7mm cylinder to make the hole on the other one. I was just testing to try and keep them as similar as possible. :)

Pigeon Print Shop

Super helpful Tiffany! Thank you for taking the time to help me. 🙏

Jill Woolsey

I love this. Printing these little ones are so fun.

Dan Schoen

I second this request, that would be awesome!

Sean A

Its split into objects so it's easier to paint.

Mark Wheadon

The tops of the spikes are a little odd in the 3mf file – they are like little shells which fit over the original spikes, and they are really thin-walled. On my setup (admittedly a 0.6mm nozzle) they are too thin, and aren't rendered by PrusaSlicer in places. Screendump: https://capture.dropbox.com/bkhAJsWM40jampmB Same goes for some of the other colour shells placed over the original shape. I could work around this, but thought you'd want to know.

Nate Steck

he would be a fun as a key chain

Jeremy Stout

I love this and Thank You So Much for the 3MF file!! Please keep it up, it's absolutely the best!

BenJamin Prater

Thank you for the .3MF variation! Makes coloring so much easier!

Time to print

sNp

Thank you

Trina Fenton

I may be missing something but where would the keychain go on the new one?

Mike Sprague

I've printed this little guy out a couple times, on different machines and settings and keep running into a similar "problem" - the three spikes on the tail print sort of rough. looking at the file in the slicer, they don't appear very smooth - like maybe too much geometry, not a pure cone, hope that makes sense. wasn't sure if anyone else was having this issue? Using Cura.

Blake Sokoloski

Try to change slicer's really quick, Prusa Slicer is what I use now, I used to use Cura, however, I knoticed some weird things. When I ran two identical prints with the same settings, Cura's looked like it had a lot more artifacts. I know in Prusa Slicer there is a setting to control the finished quality, ( low or high poly ). Maybe in cura there is a setting like this as well.

DH87

found same issue (4mm, not using Cura) also the first two body parts behind front legs are too close together so they print almost as one. May stick with other wyverns unless an updated file comes out.

JAYeko

I was just wondering the same thing - I thought it would go through the mouth but I don't see any holes? ETA: Ohhhh.... I think it's just smaller, and then you need to add the keyring hole yourself!
