Hi Cinders!

Starting off October with some more fun creepy things!

First, we do have the Tiny Jumping Spider BONUS model as a fun Trick or Treat candy alternative from last month.  I've made it a two month special for Halloween in case anyone in October wants to print it as well.  This is available in the original post HERE.

Also, releasing today is the exciting yet creepy NIGHTMARE DICE TOWER! This was designed from demon skulls off last years Hollow Dragon and Webs from the Wicked Dragon!

This creation has the same amazing traveling and sounds as the first Cinderwing3D dice tower (the Crystal Mushroom Dice Tower), with new nightmare vibes! It prints great at 100% but can also be shrunk down to a "Mini Dice Tower" at 75%! As always, NO SUPPORTS!

One of our Cinderwing3D Testers, ErickDRedd, was so generous to take the time to paint this file and offer you all the .3MF version!

Gerhard Grobler

Thanks. They are now showing. Whole new look with whole new issues.

Gerhard Grobler

Gonna print it as soon as the current batch of timy spiders finishes. 3 hours to go. Everybody loves them!

Joshua Bryan

wow this is awesome looking, cant wait to print them. I love the dice towers to please think of adding more in the future.

Roger Burke

is there a link for the smaller on

Jazzy_Plz

no you just scale it down

Paul M Krupa

Just scale it down in your slicer

Johnny Davila

patreon changed how the file is displayed, i have to open the post by clicking on the title then it shows up at the bottom

Gina Arnold

this is awesome, will be printing it tonight!!!

Robert Riggs

Is anyone else getting an error when trying to slice the .stl? I am running Cura 5.4.0 and it fails with an "unexpected error". I have tried on two different machine now.

Debra

Does it need supports?

Jazzy_Plz

No. As it says in the post

Jazzy_Plz

Cura is so hecking mean. I can't re-create the error on my side, it slices ok there... not sure I'm sorry :<

Brooks Whitford

just sliced it on Cura 5.4.0 and was fine

John R Blair

This is a pretty neat design can't wait to print it.

John R Blair

I had the same issue with a couple of STL's I just went to a different slicer. I've downloaded Prusa slicer 2.6.1, and it works, for the STL that would give me the error in Cura. Now I just need to figure out how to add my other machines into that program it only works on my ender at this time. my other machines are not in the preloaded in the program so I need to be able to add them but I can't figure out how to get the profiles in the program. Can anyone help me with that.

Arcane Auras

Hi! What infill percent is this best with this? Can't wait to print it!

Robert Riggs

Not sure what the issue is. I loaded it into Ideamaker and it slices without a problem. I did get it to slice in Cura but only after I reduced it to 75%. Just resized it to 99.9% and it sliced fine in Cura. Who knows. Thanks everyone!

Jazzy_Plz

Same as usual, Gyroid 10-25%

Sean A

I must be blind today, but I cannot see the file itself anywhere? (I'm probably totally not looking in the right place though.

Sean A

Never mind, I clicked on the post itself and here they are. THANK YOU!!

Christopher Nicholas

I would love to print this for my son. Where is the file exactly? I can't find it

ProtoSpyre LLC

I love this! Please more of these! I’ve noticed issues with most being the dice roll down too steep and roll out but this is amazing!! I also tried printing the tiny spiders in TPU! And let me just say they printed perfectly on my Ender 3v2 @ 115% with Hatchbox Silver definitely extra spOoky

Bre Senten

Wow, this is super cool!

Allen Leader

Got to love this one.. Can't wait to print this one with rainbow or something like that.

Steve Harvey

Printed this and it came out excellent! Used it last night at game night and it was a huge hit! everyone loved it!

Mawk

Anyone have 4,000 manifold errors show up for the MMU File and regular file in bambu studio? It also took me a few minutes to find the links, this new patreon web look seems to hide things, I was able to find them by clicking cinderwing3d under memberships then the links showed up in there at the bottom of the post as they usually do.

Michelle Janny

Yeah those manifold errors are in both files, took a few minutes to get them repaired

Mawk

My machine isn’t powerful enough to fix them, it’s an old Mac mini. It keeps locking up when I try to fix them. I decided to try and print it as is.

Mike Chamberlain

Found on Bambu slicer you can ignore the manifold errors (not first time I’ve encountered this). This printed no issues 100% ~ 23 hours amazing beautiful etc kudos more of these!

SneakySmurf

Yeah, it stinks because it renders the MMU file unusable.

Mawk

I was able to print the regular version after painting the "pool" red, it printed just fine. There are a few sections that needed supports, it just clipped off the small areas dropping down, honestly you wouldn't even they were there.

Mawk

Something I have seen (rarely) is the MMU file has objects you can select and paint, this made changing colors extremely easy. I got excited when I saw the MMU file extension as I thought this was the case where I would select the spiders and change the colors for them individually then select the pool object and change that.

Jazzy_Plz

They do not be repaired, please print it as is!

Jazzy_Plz

General reminder that Cinderwing designs will sometimes have non-manifold errors, these will NOT affect the print and do not need to be repaired.

Hayley Matthews

I love how the base of the tray comes out!

Zombie Saint

thanks, i was slightly worried about them. get like 4000 of them in orca slicer. thanks for the info

Darkmoon

I keep getting slicing failed in Cura :( No idea what I'm doing wrong, just using standard settings at 100mm/s

Thomas Brower

Thanks for this post! I'm new to Bambu so I'm always inclined to 'fix errors' when given the option. As always, thanks for the help and support Jazzy!

Mike Kay

Patreon did an update recently, you have to click on the actual post (the text ) and the files will be there. they dont show up on the feed portion any longer it seems

Jess Mathews

Same did you manage to fix it

Darkmoon

No sorry 😭

Darkmoon

I didn't but I've just just tried again and my computer ran out of memory, so I reckon its just a computer thing with it being a huge model

Rachel Nunez

Do you remember what filament you used for the silver one?

Topaz's Vinyl Designs

Hi, what filament did you use for both this dice towers. I looked under your amazon this model is on there.

cinderwing3d

If its not there then I do not remember, sorry!
