I wanted to test a theory about whether the Octacosm would be effective for creating background sounds to start a track. I knew there would be an issue with the Digitakt because it sums the stereo image down to mono, but it turns out that's not so bad. Even with the phasing, it tends to make the mono image sound rather stereo-like, and some delay and reverb can kind of cover it up. Not just that, it works great for making giant cinematic leads that dominate your senses, it's awesome. Check it out, I'll be releasing 1.0 in the next few weeks.
