This template provides intuitive and carefully designed controls for the Performance Mixer + Ultimate FX family of templates. It offers individual filters for both A/B and C/D inputs, along with powerful effects like high-pass filtering with delay, all on a per-input basis. The download includes a SHIK map and a comprehensive guide detailing all CC messages and channels, enabling you to map your own MIDI controller if you don’t own a SHIK controller. Since the SHIK is a macro controller, you’ll need another controller capable of macro controls to fully replicate this template— the Faderfox EC4 is an excellent choice. This setup is particularly well-suited for Techno and, in fact, is almost essential for achieving the best results.

SHIK CC Guide - Performance Mixer 3.0 Family

To Install:

1. Connect compatible SHIK MIDI controller to you computer and navigate to https://editor.shik.tech/

2. In the top right corner select the UPLOAD button. Choose SHIK Performance Mixer 3.0.json file.

3. Connect SHIK controller to your Octatrack MIDI Input.

Tip: To return to default FX and track values on the Octatrack press FUNC + CUE to reload your active part.
