Check out this long video about the new Hybrid 4x4 Template. There's a small demo, a brief discussion of my progress on the Push 3 Performance Template, switching audio interfaces and the advantage of a good mixer, my opinion on the OT as a replacement for CDJ's, M8 tracker vs Digitakt II, and some Patreon specific updates.

See you tomorrow during the live stream!

Best,

Matt

New here. Excited and looking forward to learning everything I can. New to elektron and I have to say I’m blown away.i just purchased the digitakt 2 and it’s so engaging…even enough to put my push 3 aside for awhile. Just thought today of hooking it up to my fader fox pc12. That should be interesting.i hear you mentioning m8 tracker.i was thinking of getting polyend tracker plus mini for sample design while time at work then putting it in digitakt when getting home for further manipulation and mixing. Opinions? And what you think of mini plus vs m8. Thanks again

Hiya, excellent way to update people, still enjoy your long in-depth tutorials, but this useful too! Wondering though, are you working on any particular OT template with superate processing/sampling A/B and C/D buses? I use C/D to bring in my guitar sounds and process the Digitakt samples and Syntakt through A/B... So I really need those two buses...

4 x 4 is exciting! It's perfect for what I've had in mind as I like using the OT for stems or loops with drums and basslines coming from another box (TR8s or Analog Rytm). Can't wait to try it out!

Great stuff! So you don't recommend using Ot as replacement for Cdjs but it is good for playing full songs/stems? Excited for new Hybrid template they are my favourite!

Sorry if I'm being dumb here but, will the 4 flex tracks be playable through the OT FX or need to come out of the Cue output and back in (np if that's the case - it's what I do currently, just checkin'...

RME TotalMix has been such a confusing tool to wrap my head around. I am trying to use it for OBS streaming: mixing mic audio, main outs from my old Mackie 24 channel desk, Ableton audio, PC audio if I'm gaming instead of making music, etc. Any general advice on how I should approach this? Currently I have about 4 (or 5?) audio channels in OBS that relate to different channels in TotalMix, but it sounds like you have a different and much simpler approach with your bus setup.
