Integrating small Eurorack or semi-modular systems with samplers creates a magical synergy that I can't seem to find with any other combo. This allows for the capture and reuse of sounds that might otherwise be forgotten. This was actually a topic in our Soundcheck last Sunday, the benefits of letting your DAW record for hours at time so don't you miss out on any sounds. My go to combo lately is Moog Labyrinth and Happy Nerding FX Aid (multi-effects module) provide hours of entertainment. I appreciate their straightforward design combined with their unpredictable and nuanced functionalities. Every session with this setup yields useable results and a rewarding experience. If you haven't tried pairing a semi-modular with your or a small eurorack system with your favorite sampler, I highly recommend you do this!
